There is a fee for the zoo only. They also have an english garden attached to the Leo Mol sculpture and museum. There are other attractions in the park.... More

This is a must when visiting Winnipeg! The polar bears are all babes and from MB. Beautiful place to picnic, watch a movie, or see ballet in the park.

Not spectacular, but has it's moments. Bring lots of water, for there is little shade. The monkeys are always my favorite.

Excellent picnic facilities and washrooms. Lots of walking paths. Beautiful English flower garden from about the end of May with amazing statues by leo mohl. There is an art gallery in the pavilion and an expensive restaurant. Good restaurant by the duck pond open year round and and ice cream window in summer. Wonderful playground for children. You can rent... More

Great place to visit for a walk or picnic, the Leo mol display and garden is my favourite by far but the formal gardens are quite good also. It's a huge park with lots to see and do.

This is a beautiful park. In the summer walk through the English Gardens, Leo Mal Gardens, and trails. Skate or tobaggan in the winter.

Assiniboine Park is one of Winnipeg's hidden gems. The Conservatory, English Gardens, Leo Mol exhibit and the great expanse of grass areas are some of the free things to take in. The Zoo does have a reasonable admission charge, which is well worth the price. Coming soon is a new Polar Bear-Northern exhibit which promises to intrigue and educate. There... More

This park and zoo is getting better every year, it is now one of the best in the country. The park is in full bloom in May with thousands of different species flowers. The park offers many diverse things to do and see from and an excellent restaurant to many unique types of wild life.

The new duck pond area is a relaxing area to sit and watch the ducks and geese float by. The Leo Mol Sculpture Garden is our favourite spot to wander and enjoy the tranquillity of the pond, the sculptures and the adjoining flower garden. We have taken many family pictures at this spot, its must you bring a camera. Very... More

The new Journey to Churchill exhibit at the zoo is opening this summer and it looks fabulous. Watching polar bears up close under the water will be a great experience. The children's nature playground is also a wonderful place. The English Garden and Leo Mol sculpture garden, plus the theatre in the park are great attractions.
