Such a beautiful place to go anytime.

I Love the Assiniboine Park, especially the Leo Mol sculpture garden. Such a beautiful place to walk around or just sit and unwind.

They are doing an amazing job of updating Winnipeg's Zoo. The 7 polar bears are incentive enough for a visit, but the whole Journey to Churchill exhibit is wonderful. Watching the polar bears swim right over your head is unforgettable. Don't miss the film in the round theatre. Now a heavy horse exhibit, including carriage rides, is set to open... More

The best part of the zoo is the Journey to Churchill. The polar bears are amazing. We enjoyed their antics in the see through tunnel. The bears swam over us as we walked through. We also enjoyed the butterfly exhibit. The area outside has wonderful flowers and excellent areas to take pictures.

Very nice zoo. Thoroughly enjoyed the polar bear exhibit. Much about not only bears but the ecology of the Churchill, Manitoba area and the ecological crisis faced by polar bears. Easy to walk and well shaded in the summer.

I didn't love it. It was chaos in the kids areas and the wood chips next to wet sand areas was annoying. That being said we didn't go for me. Went for the kids and they loved it. So I give it a 3 they would give it a 5 and we'll settle for a 4.

I live a 15 minute walk from the Assiniboine Park. I run and walk through the park 3- 5 times a week. The side walks and pathes can be a tad uneven at times. Otherwise the park is fantastic! It is well kept and very clean. It has many spots to sit in the shade, on benches, picnic tables or... More

The biggest park in Winnipeg is beautiful. A great place to go for a picnic, lounge in the sun or walk/rollerblade/bike around. The park hosts many events throughout the year including Ballet in the Park, Movies in the Park and many more.
