Definitely an eye-stopper! The image of the wolf looking down on travellers as they leave Thompson driving South on Mystery Lake Road (PTH #6) is one you won't soon forget. Tourists often stop at side of the road to grab a quick photo of this unique painting of Robert Bateman's Wolf. Painting is lit up at night. The eyes of... More

This is an amazing piece of art. It takes up the entire North side of an apartment complex and is a must see if you are in Thompson. From what I can tell there is a hill for sliding right under it so an amazing experience if you are able to enjoy that as well.

Thompson's WOLF mural is definitely a 'MUST SEE' thing to do while visiting Thompson. It is enormous and captivating as you walk or drive by the building. It has been painted so that the eyes of the wolf look directly at you and follow you as you pass by. Certainly is a different feeling to most people. PS. I live... More

I would not make it my sole objective to drive to Thompson and see the mural but if you are in the area you got to see it. You can not miss it driving south. If driving north, you will see two wolf cut outs on the right hand side of a limestone ridge. The mural is on the building... More

This mural sits on a height above Thompson and is easy accessible by foot - a good combination with the Northern Heritage Museum.

This is a beautiful work of art on the side of an otherwise unremarkable building, that just seems to be alive and makes one smile! It is a wonderful addition to the wolf theme of the a city of Thompson and residents should be proud!

It's a rather impressive size piece of art, and there is no missing it as you make your way around in Thompson. There is not much else to it, but pretty cool nonetheless!

I can only imagine the challenge of producing a piece of work of that size and magnitude and I can attest that if you are in Thompson is worth seeing it!
