Fascinating old artifacts, knowledgeable staff, most interesting of all is that it is funded by the catholic church.

The museum did a good job of giving an overview of the area and the people. Great break from riding around the tundra. Friendly staff.

It's small, just one large room. But you get a good feel for the very different place you are visiting. Lots of Inuit art and handicrafts, some very good explanations of native lifestyles, a small gift and book shop. I was particularly impressed with the seal hunting display.

Curators and docents are pleasant and know their artifacts. Photographs are allowed and please, do take time to really LOOK at the high quality work that the Inuit artisans created. This little museum is run by the Catholic Church and is an extraordinarily good collection of local arts, artefacts and creatures. Recommend leaving yourself a good amount of time to browse.

The art is recently made but in the traditional way by the Inuit people. The curator was great she knew the history. Proceeds go to the comunity

Very small museum but fun to go through. You are allowed to take photographs. The small gift shop had nice children's books.

This is a small museum but worth your time to visit. The guide was very knowledgeable and personable. they have some very nice art pieces and t-shirts.
