We attended the White Rock Gallery's Major Show of New Smaller Works on December 6th and were totally impressed by many things that had been done to make this a fabulous art show. First was the fact there were 33 Canadian artists works being shown with well in excess of 250 paintings exhibited. Second was the fact that many of... More

As my very discerning father said.....he would put almost anything from the gallery on his walls. And so would I. And there is a lovely collection of sculptures as well. The staff is lovely and I would encourage anyone to go....and to go back again and again if you live here as it is always changing.

Nothing flashily, nothing exciting, but it does offer some historical contact to the area. It can be done in a short visit - 20-30 minutes and by donation.

It may be petite, but this little gem is well worth visiting. Staff are friendly and helpful. Great on a rainy day - ask for tea and enjoy your visit.

Skytrain to Bridgeport, bus 351 to White Rock Centre, then shuttle to the beach and rock. Township up high, some shops and most restaurants down the hill overlooking the water, wonderful place to visit, with a long Pier where if lucky you may see a sea lion as we did. Nice walking path along the shore. We lunched at "Charlie's... More

Magnificent sunsets looking west from the pier and also from the top of the hiilside in White Rock. There is lots to do in the area with some exceptional resturants and also some very good fish and chip places to buy fish and chips to take down to the tables at the beach.

First of all the owner , Dennie, has been at this location since she opened the gallery in 1989. Dennie has a great sense of style and is a wonderful person to talk to about the art style you may be thinking of for based on your personal taste. Dennie has also been able to get most of the prominent... More

Located up the hill from the ocean, this lovely Gallery is tucked in with some cool shops. The selection of paintings from local artists is amazing! Definitely worth a visit if you are in the White Rock area! Staff were very friendly and encouraged us to just browse and enjoy....which we did!
