I grew up in Colorado, and have skied all over including CO, Montana and Jackson Hole...but Whistler is my favorite. It has something for everyone, is absolutely gorgeous and the skiing in awesome. Also, since I live at in a coastal area, the altitude of Whistler is easier to acclimate to than CO or higher peaks. Add the upgrades that... More

we have been vacationing in W/B for over 5 years now, and although we live in DFW, it is well worth the travel time. Largest ski area in North America, friendly staff and great village!

I've found that outside my native California, ski trail ratings mean different things. Greens outside CA are basically blues and blues are blacks+. Same to be true for Whistler, too. I found myself really enjoying the incredibly long runs from the top to the bottom, which were just long enough to stay enjoyable with peaceful and scenic lift rides to... More

I've skied Aspen and Vail my whole life and thought all other mountains would pale in comparison and have found this to be true until now. Whistler exceeds in every way. Sheer volume of trails, variety, lifts, gondolas, trail grooming, even the views. There is no detail that comes to mind that isn't better here. Dare I say even the... More

This is a #1 resort this year in North America and apparently a lot of people think so. Skiing is great, lodging is good. Village is big and customer service is pretty good everywhere you go.

Review the map before your day ( although there are some maps on chair bars). Enjoyed the -5C temperatures! First time I've never been cold! Weekday in Jan. fantastic and not busy. So many runs, plan your adventure or participate in an orientation tour offered. 50% of runs are Greens and blues, groomed and wide. Favorite was 7th Heaven on... More

Well organized, quick lifts, so many ski runs of all levels (even up high on the mountain there are greens if you are not that great of a skier), beautiful scenery and a great selection of restaurants and shops in the village. Best ski experience so far!

While planning initially, found that only the village gondola would be functional. Mailed the guest services to confirm who said even the peak to peak would be functional. So booked the bus tickets from vancouver to whistler. After a few days tried booking the gondola and found that only the village gondola can be booked. Again mailed the guest services... More

The weather here is typical west coast...unpredictable, rainy below 1300 ft, and inaccurate. We skied a sunny day that was a little icy but groomed. The back bowls that day were a little icy and east coast. We had another day with flurries that fog visibility was tough for an hour at most. The last day they called for 3cm... More
