Having taken many lessons at Whistler Blackcomb, I have to say that this two-day clinic was exceptional, and one I'd gladly do again in future. The adventurousness level was just right, and instruction was spot-on. I was taken to areas of the hills that I would never venture on my own, or even find, for that matter! What a great... More

I love Whistler and this clinic makes me love it so much more. I did it for the first time last year and turned up a little anxious about whether the clinic may have been beyond me. The guides soon put me at ease, made you feel comfortable and then take you on a couple of warm up runs and... More

We spent last weekend (2 days) alpine touring with Extremely Canadian guides Keith and Brent. We had the most amazing time out there. The guides guided us safely to the best terrain the area of Blackcomb would offer. It was a great experience for both of us. My boyfriend is an experienced ski tourer while I am new to the... More

We got a private guide for three days for my husband, son and myself. The last day, my husband, an extreme level skier, skied with Crystal-Rose Lee alone for the afternoon and said it was the best skiing time he had ever had. Non-stop, double black, hiking, shoots, and places he said he would not have ventured to alone. He... More

We gave our son a gift of the Extremely Canadian Backcountry Adventure and he loved it. Jill was fantastic in arranging everything in advance and keeping in contact with us. There was a little confusion in picking up rental gear but the day out in the Backcountry and the meet up celebration after were well worth it. The group was... More

Thanks so much for your review. Although we have been doing the Steep Skiing Programs in Whistler since 1994, the Backcountry Adventures are a new product as of December 2012. We are still working out some the wrinkles with the rental process and sincerely appreciate your feedback. We are changing the rental process and working with that shop to provide... More

My second time with these guys, and they continued to impress me. I wanted to expand my skills onto the black and double black runs of Whistler and Blackcomb and they certainly give you a brilliant two day experience. The instructors are very friendly, able to pass on real technical skills, and safety conscious regarding their clients. In our group... More

Wow, the BEST thing we did in Whistler!! I am an advanced skier, but a bit out of practice (ex stage one instructor in NZ but no skiing for 10 years and now re-inspired to ski with the family) I hadn't had much big mountain experience and my partner had only learnt to ski over the past four years. We... More

The two day Extremely Canadian Steep Clinic was not only the highlight of my trip to Whistler, it was the highlight of 15 years of skiing. I cannot wait to do it again. Extremely Canadian don't just provide ski guides or ski instructors, they provide the complete skiing experience. Skiing doesn't get any better than this.

I make two trips to Whistler annually from Toronto, Canada. I considered myself low-level advanced (skiing at the level of CSIA level 1 or level 2 though I have not done their program) skier and before this trip could ski most Whistler double-black runs and some Blackcomb double-black runs. There are three (Blackcomb) runs I was not quite ready to... More

I am not going to pretend to be modest, I am a decent skier with relatively high expectations, and I confess that this whole thing was a huge and pleasant surprise! This was my forth year in Whistler and I got too see things that even in ten years I could have missed or not even have dared to try.... More
