An excellent, fun and challenging time climbing the Via Ferrata with our guide Kyler Connell - he was very thorough and patient and relaxed putting us at ease immediately. It was an exciting climb and we got to even use crampons briefly on some ice. I'd highly recommend this activity for anyone who is not afraid of heights and is... More

Myself and my two kids - ages 12 and 14 - all did the Glacier Hike. Our guide - IAN - was amazing. Took about 4 hours including the hike to the bottom of the glacier area, the chair lift down and the hike back to the lodge. They provide the hiking boots, the clampons (?) and the ice axe.... More

While at Whistler I went on the Via Ferrata tour with the Alpine guides. Our leader was Ian. We met at the gondola base. Then after going up and being equipped and trained we hiked across snow and ice with crampons on our feet, climbed ladders, and rock climbed ( we were hooked into harnesses) to the top. The entire... We went on the via ferrata tour while in Whistler and this was a fantastic experience! The guide (Ethan) was awesome and informative. This was such a thrill to climb over rocks, snow, ice, and up the mountain all in one trip. This is a must do activity in Whistler! I took a few people for a Whistler Via Ferrata tour with this company. We had a fantastic time and everything was perfect. The guide (Ryan) was very skilled and everything went smoothly and safely. :)

Felt completely safe. Had tons of fun. I had always gone to Whistler for snowboarding but had rarely explored it in the summer. The Via Ferrata was amazing.

First things first, I absolutely loved the alpine glacier hike. We started off our trail hike on solid ground for about 30 minutes, we drank from the fresh glacier water and did some sight seeing.. then came across some snowy hills.. we made our way up.. until we got to the side of a beautiful mountain... and then the real... We had a great morning with Aaron who, in the space of a few hours, taught us the basics of top rope climbing! He helped us with clear instruction, useful details/techniques, and enthusiastic attitude. We had two adults and two children (10 and 12 years) in our family, and he handled each of us comfortably. He was very encouraging to... More

My husband, children (ages 13, 15), and I enjoyed this experience very much! It was challenging, both physically and mentally, but we never felt unable to continue or unsafe. Our guide, Kyler, was awesome. He was very attentive and helpful, especially to my son who was nervous. The sense of accomplishment was fantastic, a great lesson for my children that... More
