We booked a half day private guided hike and were able to see places we would not have been able to get to on our own, which was especially appreciated since the Peak 2 Peak Gondola wasn't running when we were there. Ryan, our guide, is quite knowledgeable about the local geography, animals and plants and was able to point... More

It isn't often that I would return to Whistler within the same summer to do something out of my comfort zone - because I hear stress ages you fast - but I did! Let's make one thing very clear: I am afraid of heights. Anything more than five feet, I sometimes get a sense of vertigo and takes a lot... More

We did the via ferrata tour mid-September 2014. Our guide was Etienne and we really want to thank him for such a great experience. He took the time to explain to us about Whistler glaciers (how they formed, how they move, the impact they have on today’s landscape, etc). Also introduced us to rock climbing techniques and showed us how... More

Thanks to our experienced guide Ian we had a wonderful first hiking adventure in the Canadian backcountry. We went from lower to middle and then to the upper Joffre Lake and the water just got more turquois with every step we took. If we ever get the chance to come back to Canada we will definitely book one of the... More

An excellent, fun and challenging time climbing the Via Ferrata with our guide Kyler Connell - he was very thorough and patient and relaxed putting us at ease immediately. It was an exciting climb and we got to even use crampons briefly on some ice. I'd highly recommend this activity for anyone who is not afraid of heights and is... More

Myself and my two kids - ages 12 and 14 - all did the Glacier Hike. Our guide - IAN - was amazing. Took about 4 hours including the hike to the bottom of the glacier area, the chair lift down and the hike back to the lodge. They provide the hiking boots, the clampons (?) and the ice axe.... More

While at Whistler I went on the Via Ferrata tour with the Alpine guides. Our leader was Ian. We met at the gondola base. Then after going up and being equipped and trained we hiked across snow and ice with crampons on our feet, climbed ladders, and rock climbed ( we were hooked into harnesses) to the top. The entire... We went on the via ferrata tour while in Whistler and this was a fantastic experience! The guide (Ethan) was awesome and informative. This was such a thrill to climb over rocks, snow, ice, and up the mountain all in one trip. This is a must do activity in Whistler! I took a few people for a Whistler Via Ferrata tour with this company. We had a fantastic time and everything was perfect. The guide (Ryan) was very skilled and everything went smoothly and safely. :)
