We came here after the Ironman weekend for massages and relaxation. We each had RMT massages, which were expensive but on par with RMT prices at spas in Vancouver ($165). Overall, the silent/quiet Scandinave spa experience was lovely. Don't come here to gossip with girlfriends by a pool. Highlights were the eucalyptus steam room and the hammocks on top of... More

I enjoy the spa and usually try to visit one or two during holidays - usually with the hotel which I'm staying at. This place is beautiful. I was dropped off by car at the 'welcome' sign and walked up the woodland trail along to the spa which is nestled high amongst the trees, looking over the valley. They ask... More

After an epic day of mountain biking in the rain I was looking forward to my Deep Tissue massage and soak in the hot pools. When I checked in I advised the desk clerk that I had never been here before. She handed me a robe and 2 towels and advised me to proceed to the massage building. No flip... More

They charge for the use of a robe??? They DON'T offer slippers, no beverages, refreshments and a waiting room that resembles that of a doctors office! Did I mention they only give you 2 little towels? The only good thing about this place is the outdoor spa tubs and the treatments are not bad.

Hello Paul, Thank you for visiting the Scandinave Spa Whistler and for taking the time to share your experience with us. It is disappointing to read how your visit with us did not meet your expectation. At the Scandinave Spa Whistler, we describe our spa as a rustic outdoor spa rather than a luxury pampering spa. I can understand your... More

This was my first experience at a European style sauna/hot pool/cold pool spa. I was pretty intimidated, but it turned out to be a great and relaxing experience. I suggest you get a late evening massage and enjoy the spa for a couple hours beforehand. Start with the hot tub, dip in the plunge pool and then relax in a... More

It might have been easier to find Brigadoon than the Scandinave Spa on my bike, but I prevailed. After the frustrating experience of finding the coed spa, I had another frustrating experience at the front desk, where they informed me that they charge extra ($12) to rent you a spa robe and do not provide slippers (so bring flip flops).... Visited this morning. Had discounted couples massage by booking 9:00 am time. Both my partner and I had excellent massages - mine was deep tissue and fantastic. Baths are gorgeous and quiet in the morning. Bring a book if the absolute silence will get to you.

So it seems that a lot of people go there for the pools/baths. That kind of turned me off since there were SOOO many people there. It didn't feel as serene with 10 other people sitting next to you. Not the best bath experience I've had. And the steam room smelled like urine. It could have been the scent they... More

Every time we go to Whistler we make a massage and the baths. We enjoy the massage and the relaxing baths. It is a great place to shut out the world for a little time. The only issue I have with this place is that I do not have enough time to spend relaxing during my stay in Whistler.
