Whilst on a working holiday my girlfriend & I went whale watching twice with Captain Ron in 2007. The second time we took my girlfriend’s parents. Because of his small boat Ron sped about the seas showing us Seals, Sea lions, Bald Eagles and Humpback Whales. We even chased a cruise ship! If you’re thinking of whale watching in Victoria... more

Captain Ron runs the best Whale Watching tour in Victoria. Sure there are bigger companies, with bigger boats but they do not know the waters or the whales like Captain Ron King. He takes you out to see the whales and that IS what you see. He has a smaller boat for a more intimate adventure but also one where... more

Captain Ron, saved our trip... After being let down big time by EagleWing. I booked a tour with Eaglewing back in January received confirmation email, everything! but they were a no show on the morning... their offices claimed to have no knowledge of my booking yet I had an email confirming it, which luckily for me I took with me... more

My boyfriend and I went whale watching with Captain Ron in the spring of 2009, and it was an experience we will never forget! His boat was fantasic - luxurious and adventerous at the same time. If you are looking for a rough ride, you are more than welcome to ride in the front, and if you would like it... more

My husband and I were in Victoria for 1 night only so we didn't reserve any whale watching ahead of time. We had no problem getting on the afternoon tour and there was only 2 other people in the boat. It was very early in the season and the orcas hadn't arrived yet. Captain Ron did take us to a... more

We had a fantastic experience with Captain Ron. We saw over 30 whales,(orcas) along with seals, eagles, sea lions and leaned a lot on our trip. We were so impressed with Captain Ron and his knowledge of the sights we were seeing. We have taken a big charter out of the harbour before to go whale watching and this was... more

What an experience! From the moment we arrived at the Fisherman's Wharf to "suit up", until the moment we left, over three hours later, our party of five had the experience of a lifetime in the company of Captain Ron. An added bonus for us was that we were the only group that afternoon and so had an even more... more

I went on a whale watching excursion with Sea King Adventures. I was amazed at how many whales there were. It was the JPod of killer whales that we were able to see at the time. The whole trip took a couple of hours and our Captain Ron was teaching our group about survival at sea. It was a great... more

We went out whale watching with Ron of Sea King Adventures because, like many others, I wanted to support the small guy & I had also heard stories about how the bigger companies gave up very quickly if whales weren't around & I hoped that wouldn't be the case with a smaller operation. The day we went out was really... more

I chose SeaKing whale watching because I wanted to support a small business and I wanted to have a closer , more intimate viewing of the whales than you get with a large boat. It as advertised. We saw 3 orca, one bald eagle and lots of sea lions and seals. We were safe and the boat ride was fun.... more
