On June 20, Brett, the Eagle Wing owner/operator, picked us up at our hotel and brought us to the Fisherman’s Wharf for our tour on the Gold Wing. Just getting to see that village alone was fun! Sammy the Seal is worth the visit! Li (not sure of the spelling) gave us an overview and provided outerwear for us. Like... more

We wanted to see Orcas badly so I researched all the various tour companies operating out of Victoria. We chose Eagle Wing because they had the fastest boats, which makes a difference sightings are reported far away. We also liked the intimate size of the tour group; we were with a total of 12 guests. We had a fantastic trip... more

We had been down at the fisherman's wharf on June 2 and had a conversation with one of the captains of the boats. He told us about the resident pods, and the transient whales, so we booked for the following evening. We went on June 3, 2009 on the 6:00 evening boat. We did see a grey whale, and a couple... more

We opted for Eagle Wing as they had the gaurentee to see whales. They didn't let us down. We saw 2 pods of killer whales, seals and bald eagles and the whole experiance was awesome. We also chose the faster boat they have which was excellent fun once out on the open sea. My wife and I both suffer from... more

First off let me say that it doesnt take much to make us happy. So far all of our ratings of things on tripadvisor have been 5 stars. I always trust everything I read on this site, and in this case, it was to a fault. We were really expecting Eagle Wing to deliver, especially at the price they charged.... more

Working with Eagle Wing was first rate all the way. The group I was travelling with was 4 people ranging in ages from 14-59. There were another 7-8 people besides us on the boat. All 4 of us had the time of our lives. The activity was thrilling for all the age ranges. Eagle Wing had the best boat of... more

We would highly recommend Eagle Wing. They were a little pricier than some of the other tours on offer but are well worth the difference. Our trip started great but not long in to it we had some engine trouble, Chris the Captain battled heroically in the rain to try and solve the problem but could only keep us moving... more

We took a trip on the Eagle Wing boat last week and had a fantastic time, despite it taking three hours to find the killer whales. While other companies may have given up and gone home, our captain, Chris, really persevered in our whale search, and we eventually got lucky by finding the whole of J-pod! From the courtesy hotel... more

I had tried whale watching trips twice in Kaikoura, New Zealand and once in Monterey and had been disappointed. In Kaikoura, they cancelled the trips due to rough swells. However, I went on this trip to see Orcas, and got a thrill! Saw at least 20 orcas, a few within 10 yards away. Booked through Eagle Wing for the boat.... more
