I based making a rez for DH on the preceding 7/27/09 review and must say "thank you" to that TA member! DH had played the same cources the reviewer mentioned and says he concurs completely. Truly one of the most spectacular golf courses in North America. I have played many great courses, Pebble Beach, Kapalua etc and the Mountain Course at the Bear Mountain Resort ranks right up there, if not at the top. The course changes elevation dramatically but not so much as to trick up the layout. It is fair and yet breathtaking... more

We golfed the mountain course on June 3 - had the special twilight rate and were first off the course - 7:30..two of us and we well ahead of everyone so had the course to ourselves........beautiful. We also played Olympic View, Cordova Bay, Cowichan, and my husband played Arbutis Ridge............ well worth the trip - book the twilight rate -... more
