Awesome. Many little bugs, spiders, centepiedes and other insects. Great for little one who want to check out bugs. We were able to hold and learned many things about insects. Matt our tour guide was awesome and had great manners while handling trantulas and other insects. A must see for the little ones. Loved it!!

We were so excited to get into the "museum". The sad truth: It's one big room!!! There is a dividing wall in the middle but there was a lot of terraniums with a lot of different bugs but it was mostly spiders and a bunch of ants. it was worthy going to and the kids loved it and me and... More

A Victoria landmark, the bug zoo is a fun and interesting place for not only kids but adults too. You can (in some cases) even hold and touch the bugs which is great fun for everyone. The employees are very well educated on the varieties of bugs and share truly interesting facts during the visit on all the creatures. Only... More

Our family ranging from 3 to 45 loved it. It is small and contained which allowed our toddler to go from case to case looking at the bugs at her own quick pace but allowed us to view and actually read about each of the bugs. Our your guide jaymi was pleasant and knowledgable about all of the critters here.... More

We visited the Bug Zoo with our grandson and it was a brilliant way to spend 3 hours. Despite not liking bugs of any sort it wasn't long before I was volunteering to handle scorpions, giant cockroaches and a beautifully coloured tarantula. This was due in no small part to the brilliant guide who took us round and explained in... More

Well if you are squeemish... maybe just go to the gift shop - very cool items! Beautiful little place - but those chosen few who are up to the challenge...venture inside to where you can hold scorpions and spiders! There is an ant hill in the wall that you can view the little guys working away! (makes you a little... More

A very small museum with tanks of bugs. Good for kids bored with sites + galleries of adult interest. Good interpretive program with possibility to hold bugs and helpful for children-either crazy about bugs or afraid of them- to get a closer look. Not too expensive.

it is a small 600 sq foot room located in downtown Victoria. My whole family went there spent $50 for 30 minutes, 10 tanks with some bugs inside, I can find them on my backyard trees. Definitely waste of money, you better spend the money to watch a movie.

Young kids who love all things creepy crawly are going to find this a excellent way to spend an hour. The guides are always doing the rounds and explaining the different types of bugs, and the kids get to hold them. For parents it's interesting, I've seen much of this previous, so I was not that into it. But if... More
