This was one of the best child items to do that we have done so far in Victoria. Kids can hold all kinds of bugs and the guide Emily was so patient w all the children and adults alike. Very good event. We spent over 2 hours here. Highly recommend.

The Bug Zoo was not particularly large but it was definitely not an everyday experience. It wasn't very big but had a very good range of bugs and excellent descriptions, including a rather well established ant farm (enclosed, don't worry!) Our guide Jaymie was very knowledgeable and was at home with kids, adults and insects alike. There was an ant... More

The bug zoo is contained in just one large room with many tanks full of various insects, including two huge leaf-cutter ant colonies (so cool!). The best thing about this place is that there is constantly at least one guide talking to people about the bugs, and/or pulling them out of their tanks to hold, show, and allow visitors to... More

So I've been here a couple of times. every time I go I end up with Jaime as our tour guide. Firstly she needs a attitude adjustment. My son held a stick bug and he said its line a stick and she replied well yeah but in a snarky tone. Maybe it's time she rethought a career not being a... More

The Victoria Bug Zoo is a small bug packs a big punch for the number specimens on offer and information. The staff were very informative and share their personal insight. It is certainly worth a visit if you have kids as our kids (9 & 11yo) loved it. Even I developed a new found respect for these critters.

The Bug Zoo is a must if you are in the area. It contains a nice selection butterflies and other life forms. Well laid out, different and easy to get around I enjoyed the place and recommend it to any of my friends who are headed out that way.

We spent an hour at the Victoria Bug Zoo. The guide was very informative and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Some very interesting insects and spiders that I hadn't seen before, as well as some fun facts about them. Well worth the admission price. Thank you Bug Zoo.

This is a very small zoo. It is interesting and really fun for kids. It will only take an hour or two, but is different.

I absolutely LOVE bugs. I love them. The Bug Zoo is an absolute must stop for me. Some of the most unique and unusual bugs from around the world reside here; including an entire colony of leaf cutter ants who live in clear tubing around the rooms. My favourite part about the Bug Zoo are the guides, who are extremely... More
