Lots of amazing bugs and great information from the guides inside. It is a bit steep to bring a who;e crew in here, if you are local buy a membership. My kids knocked out over an hour here on a rainy day. the ant habitat is mesmerizing and if you are brave you can hold a bug or two.

The Bug Zoo was a rewarding shore excursion. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly, and cognizant of individual fears when conducting the touch/hold segment. A great stop for both young and old.

We went with three young children (eight, six, and two). This is a small zoo but great fun for all the family. We were lucky that the guide, Alex, made it such fun for all. We even got to hold a tarantula!

We went in with low expectations and were very pleasantly surprised! The number of bug species is astounding, and the two tour guides were knowledgeable and fun. Our child got to hold several types of (gross to me, exciting to him) bugs! And we learned a lot too. Easily as much fun as a movie, at considerably less cost!

My 8 year old daughter loves bugs so she probably enjoyed this the most. We were probably there for about an hour and probably would have enjoyed it more if it hadn't been so crowded that you got stuck in spots (early afternoon on a Thursday). My kids got to hold a hissing cockroach and another bug (which type is... More

While it wasn't bad per-say for $10 to get in I was somewhat expecting at least a Zoo's worth of bugs. Perhaps a combo of the local to the exotic or at least a few more interesting tank setups? The most interesting part was the ant setup (with sadly only one species of ant) that spanned three tanks connected via... More

Great way to spend 90 mins with kids interacting with and learning about a wide variety of bugs. Don't expect hi tech experience, this is old fashioned look, pick up and listen trip. Kids loved it. Bit pricey for amount of time but still worth it.

I was a little skeptical but thank goodness my grandson really wanted to see the bugs. It was a great experience! Very informative for all ages. There are guides to walk through with you and tell you about each exhibit. Also, some of the insects you get to hold, if you want. :-)
