Even though my son is an older teen, he still liked the Bug Zoo. The average age of the guests is 6 (plus parents) but it is very interesting and you are given the opportunity to hold bugs.

It's a small little place packed with interesting glass cases of cool bugs. We spent longer than planned here and recommend it for anyone, especially families with kids and/or grandparents who aren't crazy about walking miles all over town. We brought four generations of our family (ages 3-90) and everyone enjoyed themselves more than expected, for longer than planned!

Took our 3 and 5-year-old boys here recently on a quick trip to Victoria. Both boys loved it, the 5-year-old in particular who followed the tour for ages, learning so much about the many different bugs and even holding some of them. The 3-year-old lost interest after about 20 minutes (as they do) and I was occupied keeping him entertained,... More

I love the Bug Zoo. I got to hold a scorpion, stickbug and a tarantula! The tour guide was very knowledgable and obviously loved what she was doing. The ant wall is interesting. A must do for everyone.

I took my grandson, who is almost 4, to this attraction at the beginning of our visit to Victoria and almost the rest of the trip this place is all he could talk about. The staff here are incredible with the kids, not only telling them the stories behind each insect but the kids also get the chance to hold... More

This has got to be one of the neatest attractions in Victoria. What amazing creatures! You can learn a lot or just gaze. You can even touch many of them if you want! It was so much fun for both kids and adults.

Although small, the Bug Zoo is a fascinating place. You could certainly see it all in less than half an hour, but if you linger to listen to the guides talking about the various critters on display an hour could easily slip by. Many of the creatures are able to be handled, a great experience for all ages. A great... More

Visited the bug zoo recently with my family. My youngest was asleep in the stroller (we were staying nearby so we walked over) and I was not aware that strollers are NOT allowed inside so we had to do the tour separately- not the end of the world but the staff were not accommodating in any way and expected us... My teenage daughter and I decided to stop in and see what this was about. It was creepy and fun all at the same time. Lots of little kids were in there with their oohs and ahs which added to the fun.

It was just so much fun to look at all the little animals. I felt like I was a kid again. I would come back here again, it was really interesting.
