We almost didn't go in - how good could a bug zoo be for $8 a head we thought. Luckily we decided to give it a go and it is definitely worth it. Enthusiastic guides bring the insect world to life with great facts and figures and you can have a go of holding many of the insects (even a... More

Really knowledgeable staff that have a real way of engaging kids and teaching them about insects. The kids could even touch and hold them! Totally impressive even though I myself don't care for 'bugs', the kids didn't want to leave!

After spending almost $20. to get in, I purchased a stuffy for my 7 yr old (also $20). We left at closing and noticed a block away there was a large hole in the toy at the seam. We went back the next morning and the very rude staff would NOT exchange it....I couldn't blv it....never going back again!

I enjoyed most of what little was there, but with the large number of the insect world, there are very few displayed and what ones were there, displayed poorly. The cost compared to the payback was very poor indeed. I'd rather watch insect programs on TV with more depth and have. only one purpose for this place: small children.

Hissing cockroaches give you the heebie jeebies? Not once you've met them up close! See the scorpions glow under black light. Hold one. I go here even without kids. Very educational, interesting and interactive. Have never had a bad visit

Its a cool concept, and lots of varieties of bugs to look at. But its not a huge place, we had seen everything in about 20-30 minutes. They have a tour you can join up with to touch the bugs, but the presenter wasn't good at handling the kids, or the bugs.

We loved this zoo. It was a bit warm inside but lots of fun! Our daughter enjoyed every part of the zoo and wants to return again soon!

So exciting learning about insects. Would be a great place to bring children. I was terrified but interested, definitely had the jeebies for awhile after I left.

We took our 3 kids to the bug zoo and I am not sure who enjoyed it more - me or them! There is just something fabulous about interacting with a live exhibit and the guides were friendly and so informative as well as being interesting. I got to hold a live tarantula and a scorpion. If you are going... More

What a great place to visit. Seems small and simple but it is packed with fantastic bugs. Staff are so full of knowledge and holding some live famous bugs rock!
