Victoria reminded me of England, Very touristy if you like that sort of things. People travel in from other parts of the island to sell their crafts at the waterfront. We did a lovely boardwalk with the kids one afternoon, a carriage ride to see the older part of the city and visited Miniature World (which seemed to have been... More

Excellent place to go out or simply go for a nice walk along the very romantic shore after dinner. Some street artists might entertain you and the awesome view of the Assembly comprise an astonishing view.

My wife and I took an Alaskan cruise and one of the ports was Victoria, BC. Stay away from the pedicabs tours; it is the biggest rip-off there. My wife and I along with another couple from our cruise ship took a pedicab to tour Victoria. We could have walked faster and seen more than what the pedicab was offering.... More

We arrived into Victoria early in the morning, before all of the other tourists arrived, and enjoyed a terrific time walking, exploring, and enjoying an un-crowded Victoria. if at all possible, beat the summer crowds by arriving into Victoria as early as possible. Take the time when it is not crowded to truly experience Victoria. This makes the visit wonderful!

You have to see it to believe it. It,s vibrant, clean, interesting....full of sights and sounds of music. Bustling little harbour taxis drop off and pick up visitors hourly.....crafts galore.....entertainment for all and food for every taste.

Set in a beautiful surrounding with buildings around, such as The Government building, the Empress Hotel and the boats docked around. There are Artist selling their good's and Busters performing and in the Summer they have out in the harbor the Symphony performing in the evenings. There are place where you can just sit and take a quite moment to... More

We were able to enjoy numerous street performers on the Victoria Pier. There were also many food trucks and it was lined with interesting outdoor and indoor cafes that were fully enjoyed by locals and tourist alike. It was a delightful and enjoyable place. So many people were out enjoying this delightful area. We also enjoyed a night market and... More

This was my third visit back to Victoria. The colors of the buildings, the quaintness of the shops, and overall scenery is not to be missed. Being so close to Christmas, all the shops and streets were decorated so artistically. Just a wonderful place to visit and have a walk-about.
