Great displays, very average coffee shops, acoustics very bad when surrounded by multiple groups of yelling, running school groups.

If you only have a day in Victoria, consider spending at least half of it in the Royal BC Museum -- the First Nations exhibit alone is worth every minute and every penny!

The organization of artifacts, pictures and recreations were simply done and easy to understand and follow. Spacious and not cluttered.

This is a world class museum, with an extraordinary permanant collection and rotating displays. Kids will enjoy the total experience of walking through an old sailing ship, a log mill, an old Victorian village, and a First Nations long house, complete with sounds and smells that add to the reality!
