Very large for being kinda tucked away, lots of variety for walking and jogging, and a small lake with bridges adds to the ambiance. Try to see old photos when there was very little else around to appreciate the parks history in Victoria.

There are several sections to the park including the Petting Zoo, children's play area, cricket and tennis plus duck ponds. The gardens are beautiful if you like flowers which I do. I would say it's a must see to get a bit of a taste of Victoria
We loved everything. Very forward thinking regarding it being a dog-off-leash park. All sorts of dogs - big and little meeting and greeting. And no problems. Wow - and so clean it was too!
My stop at Beacon Hill Park was just a spur of the moment thing. I stopped at Mile Zero for a picture and thought I'd take a little time to wander through the park. I was very pleasantly surprised! This is an amazing park with soccer fields, open spaces, cultured gardens, woods, a child's petting zoo, and lots of walking...

Loved the 3 free hour parking! The kids playground was great, there's an eagle nesting site at one of the trees above it! The petting zoo was good but small. It's make a donation to enter and was the perfect size for my 3year old. There are picnic tables and beautiful walks. Watch out or the crows if you're picnicking!
Very nice park which leads out to the coast where you can get stunning views of the ocean. It's within easy reach of the inner harbour, so very accessible. There's also a petting zoo (no fee, just voluntary contribution) which will keep children and adults entertained.
I am running out of superlatives for Victoria! This park is so impressive. It is 185 acres of soccer fields, cricket fields, woods, pathways, water features, a petting zoo, and etc.
This park is such a bonanza for families and for people with children.
We were quite taken with this park and its availability to young and old. On a...

We enjoyed strolling the winding pathways and all the wildlife. There is a great playground for young children near the pond that our 18 month old thoroughly enjoyed. We also spent a lot of time at the animal farm.
Spacious, playground and also a small petting zoo with goats, peacocks, bunnies, pigs, lama and a bird house.... Have fun!
Great park to watch the blue herons in season. We took a guided tour of the blue herons in the area - there are about 40-50 nests of herons there at the moment. It is also an amazing park for its forest pathways.
