We were given the impression that we were going to be given a bit of a history lesson about the area. Sail and if there was not any wind at least putt around a bit. But no wind meant get us out to the edge of the harbour and drift like being on an air mattress. If i didn't have... More

Took hubby for a sail. Being a prairie boy, he has always wanted to go sailing. Having been thwarted by the weather a few times, we lucked out with beautiful weather. the seating is not the most comfie, but the sailing was amazing. we didn't get too far as there wasn't a lot of wind, but the peacefulness of just... I recently surprised my husband with a 3 hour sail. He has always wanted to sail and this was a perfect way for him to experience it. Luckily we had wind and could raise the sails! It was a great morning and Rob and Pete were eager to answer questions. It was a cold morning and they provided blankets, extra... More

My friend and I just spent the most wonderfully relaxing evening on the sunset tour with 3 Hour Sail. The evening was perfect and Rob was the most incredible host. I am a local in Victoria and would not hesitate to recommend this tour to friends and family. I expect I will be out again before the summer is over.

The friendly and knowledgeable crew (Rob and Pete) made it an awesome day, and even let us landlubbers hoist some sails! I would recommend it to anyone visiting Victoria. Bring a jacket, though, even in July it can get cool out there on the water.

We sailed with Rob and Pete on a beautiful afternoon. They are both very knowledgeable about Victoria, the history and places to see. They do everything to make your experience fun, from providing wine glasses, a cooler with ice, to blankets and jackets! We truly enjoyed this experience and plan to go again when we return next year. Don't forget... More

tall ship thane was the best choice I made on my visit to victoria. not only did rob and pete and abby provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere, they got us involved, were totally knowledgeable and maintain an immaculate boat - the oldest working boat in the harbour. rob has apparently owned the boat for under a year, but it... Thanks for the wonderful morning we had with you on the morning of June 28th. It was cold and cloudy, but we enjoyed the company and relaxation and learning a little bit about sailing.

5 of us set out for our first sail ever. We helped raise and lower the sails, chatted with all the passengers, listened to the stories and even had a few banjo tunes from Captain Pete. Rob and Pete are very knowledgeable on the history of the boat and Victoria. Abby the ships mate(dog) is very loveable and cuddles up to... More
