Grounds are easily accessible to walk around and enjoy. No admission fee. Deer make themselves at home among the trees and seasonal flowers. More

Almost as interesting as the House are the surrounding gardens which are maintained by volunteers. Both are well worth the visit though it is a bit off the beaten track. More

Government House is often over looked by Caigdarroch Castle but the grounds here are simply outstanding and a walk around is free and safe. Please make every effort to see this structure in the spring and summer when the flowers are up and blooming. More

Nice place to sit and contemplate life on a sunny day. Dont expect interior tours, as it is the active residence of the Lieutenant Governor More

The gardens are open year round. If you want to see inside go to the New Year Levee or be invited to the Christmas Ball. Fantastic views and the deer that live there will most likelt not be culled. More

I've never been inside Government House, but I stroll through the grounds every time I come to Victoria (about three times a year). Multiple flower beds, duck pond, wildflower trail. Very, very pleasant walk. More
