You can take a guided or self-guided tour. If you can deal with the many stairs, the craftsmanship inside the building is magnificent: stonework, tile, stained glass, gold leaf, painting, etc.

I stay close to the harbor in Victoria on a regular basis and the Parliament Buildings are part of the scenery. It is great to see so many tourists in the area and the beauty of the grounds and building are awesome. Makes me proud to be a British Columbian, and I always enjoy the area. I highly recommend a...

Didn't realise we could just go in and walk around as there were no signs outside. It was an interesting building to visit, didn't need the free guided tour which was offered.
Beautiful building to check out if your in the neighborhood(and you are). Good history of the area, great stained glass and lit up at night, beautiful from our hotel room at the Empress.
The exterior is very impressive. Inside, you're only allowed in 2 rooms on the first floor & 2 upstairs. They're very ornate & impressive, but I wouldn't make a special trip to see them.

Brilliant! Gorgeous gardens. Looks like a castle at night when all lit up with white christmas lights. Lovely walk during the day.
You can't help but to see this awesome building at the end of the street, just past the Empress on the left and the wharf area on the right. Walking toward it, you can get great pictures of the front with only one large tree in the way. We walked all the way around it and got some great pictures....

The grounds are nicely groomed with flowers and a giant fountain. The building itself is quite spectacular to look at, viewings inside are offered certain days of the week but we skipped this as we had our young toddler with us.
It is the first landmark we spotted, driving in late at night and once settled into our room, we walked to the parliament buildings and took the first of many photographs. 3,333 bulbs make this building stand out at night. The lovely greens and plants, fountains and people make it an attraction during the day. We didn't have time to...
