I booked a pedicure in January at the Vida Spa. As soon as I got inside I remembered why I didn't like this place. The esthetician Brittany was very good and I have no complaints about her personally. However, the facility is poor. You sit on a bench with pillows, and a very bright light shines on your head. No... More

Got a unique experience. If you are looking for professional and high quality massage and facial in Vancouver, I would highly recommend it. The staff at Vida Spas made me feel comfortable and provided customize services.

My husband and I went for a massage here on boxing day. Both of us had excellent massages. Super comfortable tables with heating pads. Music not too loud. Not too many scents. Just lovely. Robes were the softest and fluffiest possible. The lounge was nice as well and staff very helpful. The only part that did not fit with the... More

I have had massage treatments at this spa 3 times in the last year. Two were very disappointing - the one in the middle was average, but I really enjoy sitting at the outdoor pool, so gave it one more try. Most recently I asked for an RMT massage. No RMT was available, so I booked deep tissue. It was... More

I had a particularly bad experience at Vida Spa when I recently went for 60 minute massage. The experience did not only fail to meet the standard for it's price range, it was actually unpleasant. Although my therapist confirmed problem areas (my lower back and shoulders) at the start, it seemed as if this had the opposite of the expected... More

I bought the massage for my mom and massage (30mins) and manicure for my daughter as a gift for Mothers day. I gave my credit card authorization for payment. They said all good, my dear ones just need to come and enjoy. Turned out they needed to go across the street in Yyoga ( nobody told it to me before),... More

Vida Spa has moved from Sheraton Wall Centre to YYoga on Burrand. Perhaps it is growing pains but I do not think this move has served it well at all! The sharing of the space with the yoga studio really diminishes the spa feel and everything from check in to changing to having them attempt to put my male colleague... More

My wife and I spent a few hours here. She got a facial and a 1 hr massage. I got a 1.5 hr full body massage. Lisa was my therapist. She is an excellent massage therapist. Really nice spa located in the Sheraton Hotel.

Be prepared for a non-registered masseuse. The receptionist asked if I wanted a registered masseuse upon booking; she offered the massage with a $40 discount when I advised I was. The massage was supposed to be a full body massage but Chrystal managed to completely neglect my arms. Didn't touch them once. Must have been totally distracted and so the... More

I prebooked a spa appointment for myself and my boyfriend with this Vida spa because we were traveling to Vancouver for a small holiday. I wanted to have a spa afternoon, relaxing and enjoying a leisurely afternoon. I put through a request online and got an email back from one of the ladies asking for some additional information which I... More

Staying in Granville Street

Neighborhood Profile
Granville Street
Granville Street spans many, multiple city blocks and has become so fastidiously known for its nightclubs and watering holes that it's fondly nicknamed the city's 'Entertainment District.' Friday and Saturday nights are the most popular and lively, with young revelers taking to the streets in droves and keeping the party going until late. Granville Street, being mostly open to pedestrian-only traffic, has a healthy social life along its main thoroughfares, even outside of its cafes and pubs, spilling onto the sidewalks. The locals are chatty, the shops at its expansive Pacific Centre Mall are trendy, and the whole area seems to be on a sugar rush: in a good way. Exuberance and camaraderie classify this neighbourhood.
