Went to the Nazareth/Headpins concert on Sat.June 28. While the music was good the accomodations were HORRIFIC!!! While there Were tables and chairs available in the Mezzanine level we weren't allowed to sit there. We had to stand for the entire show while the tables and chairs (appr.100) were left empty. Told by security that not only could we Not... More

Went there to See Pennywise and Teenage Bottlerocket. The beer was overpriced but the concert was excellent!

I made the trip to Vancouver with three friends (from the island) just to see Spirit of The West, which we were all really excited about. I had previously seen other shows at the Commodore and it was fantastic. Everything you read in every other review is probably true, but this show SUCKED. This time we got there early to... More

We videotaped a band called Delhi 2 Dublin here. It is a huge room with four bars. Much history. It's no wonder so many famous bands had played here. It was perfect for our concert taping ... with a very enthusiastic multicultural audience. The room was sold out. I would guess there were 1,300 people there. The fire codes are... More

Very nice venue and atmosphere. I like the option of tables and the fact you are able to order food while the event is happening. Great sounds and awesome show put on by Steel Panther. Bars are conveniently located and ample room. A bit loud if you're trying to have a conversation. Didn't like that you're not allowed to leave... More

This is one of the best venues I've ever been to for live music. Everything was fantastic from the second we walked through the front doors. The service was very good from every person we encountered, prices were surprisingly reasonable, the bathrooms were spotless and there was a great view to the stage from almost everywhere inside. The sound quality... More

We've been to the Commodore for two different shows now, and every time we've been it has been an excellent experience. It's truly one of the best venues in the entire city. Drinks can be a bit expensive, but well within the normal range for the area, but the best part is that you can come downtown, have a meal,... More

This is an incredible venue. We have had the pleasure of seeing many shows here. I write this review simple to let people know that for most shows that I have been to here you need to reserve a table ahead of time if you would like a seat. It is not first come for tables and chairs. If you... More

Just saw Clutch and Orange Goblin, and once again another amazing show. You can even order dinner while watching a concert. Servers are great; drinks are reasonably priced (except for the tequila). This place is world famous and for good reason. I’ve never been disappointed watching a concert here.

Still maintains much of its 20's era architecture/charm, several bars to accommodate, delightfully sprung dance floor. Not a fan of the 2 huge advertising screens though.
