For my birthday surprise the girls booked this place and had a fun time, friends and family joined us for some great laughs... the Christmas Queen was the venue we participated in for the holiday season. Nice little licensed lounge for before, intermission and after show if you wish to have social time. great location!

for locals or tourists, it's a great, low cost, high return, easy to do evening of laughs. Locals should check out the ICI classes too! And don't let the name "rookie league" fool you: they are GOOD!

My wife and I attended on a Friday and it was great. The staff, from front door to the bar, to the ushers were welcoming. We started to giggle at the host, and then couldn't stop laughing at the cast, sometime with the cast! Next time we are going to try a later show, we heard they can be even... More

This was our very first trip to Vancouver, BC! What a beautiful place to vacation. We were looking for something to do in the evening following dinner and came across The Improv Centre on Granville Island where the 27th annual "Massacre" festival competition was just starting. This was the best and funniest improve, comedy show that we have ever been... More

My wife and I have been a number of times and haven't been disappointed in the entertainment. Would love to see some changes to speed up the bar lineup at intermission and before the show. Takes too long to get a drink. Actors are very good at what they do, though.

I have taught theatre for 30 years and witnessed this group grow from its humble beginnings in the Back Alley Theatre (I admit I miss those days as the venue had a different vibe- almost Greenwich-Village-y as opposed to the Yaletown slick Granville Island venue). There was comedy competition in those days- Gastown's Punchlines was at the height of its... More

I went this past weekend with my extended family. Seating was fantastic - we ordered tickets online in advance so our group of 10 could sit near each other at the front tables. There's a bar for drinks and some nibbling food available. $33 for a bucket of 6 Granville Island Beers or Coronas. Tickets are cheaper for students with... More

Having thought we would miss the VTSL's normal improv (not on Modays and Tuesdays), we were delight on this trip to be able to enjoy the great improv comedy during their Revue of the Year. The standard was excellent and, at the price, a real bargain. Use the No 50 Bus to get there and back to continue the economy... More

Went to the Christmas show last night with a 14-year old who pouted the whole way there because we "made him" go. Guess who started laughing 30 seconds after the lights went down and didn't stop for the rest of the show. Actually said "thank you" when we got back in the car. The adults had a good time as... I have been to VTSL five times now and have never been disappointed! Each show is unique and has brought me close to tears on several occasions! I saw a show on Saturday and I am still talking about it today! Such good entertainment and great for date nights!!! Check them out!
