These guys are hilarious!! I've been a few times, and seen a few different shows- they do battles, themes and beginners; but each show is different. Great for a night out with mates or a first date ice breaker. Definitely worth checking out!

Have a Great day/night out at Granville island and cap it off with some free flowing laughter, it's good medicine I tell you! Some restaurants have discounts for ticket holders so that was a bonus. Licensed premises so range of drinks and some nibblies are available, sit back relax and exercise some jaw mussels, whole lot of fun.

I've been going to theatresports for years. Their shows are brilliant; improv; and have heavy audience participation. They are also licensed so you can enjoy a beverage with your show. Book ahead as they often sell out.

For my birthday surprise the girls booked this place and had a fun time, friends and family joined us for some great laughs... the Christmas Queen was the venue we participated in for the holiday season. Nice little licensed lounge for before, intermission and after show if you wish to have social time. great location!

for locals or tourists, it's a great, low cost, high return, easy to do evening of laughs. Locals should check out the ICI classes too! And don't let the name "rookie league" fool you: they are GOOD!

My wife and I attended on a Friday and it was great. The staff, from front door to the bar, to the ushers were welcoming. We started to giggle at the host, and then couldn't stop laughing at the cast, sometime with the cast! Next time we are going to try a later show, we heard they can be even... More

This was our very first trip to Vancouver, BC! What a beautiful place to vacation. We were looking for something to do in the evening following dinner and came across The Improv Centre on Granville Island where the 27th annual "Massacre" festival competition was just starting. This was the best and funniest improve, comedy show that we have ever been... More

My wife and I have been a number of times and haven't been disappointed in the entertainment. Would love to see some changes to speed up the bar lineup at intermission and before the show. Takes too long to get a drink. Actors are very good at what they do, though.

I have taught theatre for 30 years and witnessed this group grow from its humble beginnings in the Back Alley Theatre (I admit I miss those days as the venue had a different vibe- almost Greenwich-Village-y as opposed to the Yaletown slick Granville Island venue). There was comedy competition in those days- Gastown's Punchlines was at the height of its... More

Thank you for taking the time to review your experience with us. It is great to hear that you were a fan of ours during the Back Alley days and here you are years later, still a wonderful supporter. Also great to hear that the kids love it, we strive to be a product that everyone can enjoy. We hope... More
