I know that this is not an attraction or a tourist draw but if you are a visitor who doesn't want to pay high taxi fares but still need to get from point A to B, this might be something to think about. When the Winter Olympics came to Van, they had to upgrade everything to make sure it would... More

I don't understand its high rating. This is a quite average metro like many others. It's useful and clean but definitely not a must-see.

It's just the public transportsystem. It works great, but isn't anything special, just like a regular subwaytrain. When taking the skytrain from the airport to downtown you have to pay an extra fee around 6 dollars. When travelling to the airport you don't have to pay this extra fee, which is strange.

The public transportation system in Vancouver is very user-friendly. The combination of the skytrain and buses will get you anywhere you want to go without the pain of finding parking. Use the skytrain for a couple of days then rent a car to venture further outside the city.

We bought an all day pass for under $10 and rode on the skytrain, buses and aquabus all day. It is a great value, plus it will get you directly to the airport at the end of they day. The buses and train run fairly regular and will get you around the city easily. Much cheaoer than a car or... More

Took the train both mid day and early morning from and to the airport. Easy to navigate and easy with luggage".
