the trains come every 4-6 minutes , we like staying at the Fairmont Airport and taking the train to downtown , it only takes 15 minutes , its costs a little more if you start your trip from the airport but if you do lots of traveling you can buy a daily , weekly or monthly pass

This is the way to travel in Vancouver, especially from the airport. It is 9 bucks a person into town and 2.75 when you leave. It is fast and takes about 20 minutes from the Yaletown Roundhouse (which is in Vancouver's west end) to the airport. The taxi used to cost 40-50 bucks one way and I didn't feel very... More

Fantastic service from airport to downtown also to ferry connection. Everything worked so well and everyone very helpful. The cost was extremely reasonable. $5 airport tax on exit but not return and then by zone but low cost.

Quicker and better value than the taxis (4$ pp to YVR from downtown). Enjoy a seat at the front once you get out of the tunnels.

Such a nice way to get from airport to downtown & around Vancouver. We just bought our day passes from the 7Eleven in the airport & away we went!

Well signposted inside the terminal to get the station. Self service ticket machines on the platform and a frequent service to Downtown / Waterfront. Journey takes less than 30 minutes.

I normally have 1 huge bag, a small carry on bag plus my computer so riding the train was not very convenient! It was a cheap way downtown from the airport but again, not convenient. There's help at the stops so it's not an issue not being familiar with riding. My car rental is downtown so most likely won't take... More

Can't speak for other lines but Canada line works well. Nice way to go from Richmond to downtown Van. But crowded during rush hour as you would expect.

Archaic system that allows too many thieves and criminals on. Some of the trains are very old and dingy. The worst part is that it shuts down too early at night to help with drinking and driving. It should run one hour later on holidays and weekends.

Having come from Melbourne it was nice to see how a metro system can actually work and deliver great service at an affordable price!
