It's not huge, so doesn't cover all of Vancouver, but the main areas have stations. It's clean, reliable and does the job. I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to use it if it wasn't the best way to get somewhere!!!

Taking the skytrain is agreat way to avoid all the traffic above(or below). Relatively fast and reliable service, definitely better to take the skytrain than drive.

The Canada Line will take you right to the Airport and/or Richmond. It is so easy to get around from the Airport to downtown.

Very easy way to get around town. Use this and the buses and you're set. Get a day pass. Well signed, only 2 tracks, coming and going. Easy access, elevators and escalators most places, and stairs.

My husband and I were going for a day trip through Vancouver, so time was important to us. SkyTrain got us to our destination quickly. It would've been better if the SkyTrain had a service to the ferry terminal. We had to transfer to a very packed bus for an uncomfortable 30-40 minute standing room only ride.

Clean, efficient and frequent service. The best way to avoid traffic and get around Vancouver. Pity we have only limited routes

This driverless, computer-operated system is a bargain, especially the Cambie Line which connects downtown Vancouver to the airport. It's actually cheaper heading TO the airport as the airport authority places a surcharge on trains leaving their operation. Still, either direction is much quicker (about 25 minutes) and cheaper than a taxi. The system has a large security force and is... More

As a resident of geater Vancouver I am a regular commuter from the suburbs to downtown but see many visitors who are amazed at the service. The Skytrain trip is as fast as driving. The system isn't perfect but it far exceeds what is available in most North American Cities. The Skytrain is fast and efficient. Grade separated and with... More

It's cheap and you see a lot of the city and suburbs. Be sure to travel to Surrey and cross the Fraser River. The Canada Line to/from the airport to downtown is also an experience.

This is only good if you need to get to the suburbs of Vancouver area. However if you are staying downtown you can just walk everywhere. It is pricey like $3.00 per person so buy a 10 pack pass it will be .50 cents cheaper for each ticket.
