very easy to use but only runs in a very limited part of town. Best to buy a booklet of 10 tickets at any 7-11 (there is one under the airport in an underground mall). Tickets are good for bus, SkyTrain and Seabus so they are very handy.

Airport to downtown line (Canada Line) is good but try to avoid rush hour with suitcases as it is a packed commuter train. The Expo and Millennium lines are even busier during rush hours. Don't overlook buses as they work well to service areas that don't work with Skytrain. Look at the Trip Planner at the Translink website to plan... More

easy to use and inexpensive. I took the skytrain out of town and found the whole experience a pleasure. The train was clean, spacious, on time and best of all, a computer told us which station we were at and what was next. Also fun just to have a wee journey because it's something we don't have in Glasgow.

Well, not perfect reliability since at least one line was down on the day I arrived, but it truly was easy and non-intimidating to use, even for a mass transit neophyte like me. I wouldn't recommend taking it from the airport if you are carrying more than one large piece of luggage, however, as at certain times of the day,... More

The Sky Train system in Vancouver is fantastic. I would think of it more as a "subway" than a sky train as much of it is actually underground tunnels, but some of it is indeed above ground up in the sky. It is so easy to navigate the system and figure out which train you need to get on and... More

At the end of our visit to Vancouver my wife and I decided to take the Skytrain to the Airport - me being a train fan - and we found it very convenient and at a fraction of the cost of a taxi. There is a station on Granville Street in the City Centre, so only a few minutes walk... More

We didn't use the Skytrain a whole lot but we found it to be safe, reliable and inexpensive. The trains are regular and the signage is helpful to tourists. Barcelona could teach them a trick with the €10 travel card.

Great way to get to cruise port from the airport. Very inexpensive 3 adults, 1 senior and 1 teen for under $20 Canadian dollars
