Fastest, cheapest way to get from YVR to downtown

The Canada Line was the perfect was to get from the airport to downtown. It was easy to find the station at the airport, and the price was around $9 (CDN)

As a transit service, our sky train has been operational sin's the 1980s. Though in recent years frequent service interruptions have slightly degraded the usability and dependability for commuters. There are some new lines being added, but it will be a while before they go online. It is also known for its odors and aromas. While sky train themselves (translink)... More

the easiest way to go to town if your hotel is out so if you have a drink or two then no problem to drive back and it's fun for the kids too specially if public transportation is something they are not used to

Best way to get to Vancouver from the airport. Quick, clean, ticketing easy, inexpensive. Very glad we chose this option over others.

Best transit in a big city that I've seen vis a vis airport shuttle/tourist sites/expedient and cheap way around a great city. Its fast, comfortable, clean, bright and extremely easy to use. Wish every city had this level of service.

It was a great, quick ride to get into the downtown core from the airport. It was affordable and clean. I liked that I could see outside the train for most of the ride.

I was involved in the design of this transit system 30 years ago and this was my first visit since. I was delighted to find the system in such good order and still expanding. The technology was world leading when new and still impresses today.

Such a great and easy way to get around. This train is based on an honesty system - but always do try to buy a ticket. After 6.30pm, you can travel on the Skytrain for one zone.
