The best transportation model to get you from main points within the Lower Mainland. At many park and ride stations; $3.00 to park and $7.50 to ride ($7.50 one way / 3 zones.). The best value is to get the day pass at $10.50 all day. From the Airport to downtown it is approximately (30 minutes one way) stopping at... More

Took the sky train from Vancouver airport to Downtown Vancouver, a cost of just under $8 and 26 minutes, brilliant!

This is just like getting the underground at NYC or getting the tube in London. Tickets are easily purchased at each station and easily understood and for me it worked well getting the SkyTrain from the airport to Canada Place. However as useful as it is, it's not a much see. Definitely not, just a useful way of travelling around... More

We don't have "sky train" in Seattle, so we come to Vancouver BC at least once a year, and we ride the Sky Train every time. Our son loves riding the trains. Sometimes, it's how we "kill" the time...2-3 hours trip hopping on and off the trains all the way out and all the way back...LOL! But we have so... More

Got to go to Vancouver for the Grey Cup (great game, too bad my team lost). Anyway, we decided not to rent a car because thought traffic might be a bit crazy, and relied on public transit. Taking the Sky Train from the airport to downtown and connecting on to other parts of the city is quite easily accomplished. They... More

Fantastic to get around as a visitor. Taken the rail form the airport to the core on numerous visits and it's much cost effective than taxi AND the best part is that it's actually quicker (26 minutes one way) than taking a car/cab. $7.50 gets me downtown from YVR $4.00 gets me to YVR from downtown!

Go to the front car.... to the front seats and LOVE every minute of getting to your destination .... usually we're going to the Waterfront Station .... but I can't tell how exciting it is to leave the aircraft and go directly to the Canada Line and not have to go down to the Ground Transport level ..... We love... More

Very fast, efficient and reliable way to get around town. Buy some "fare-saver" tickets at 7/11 stores for a 20% discount on single fares. Electronic "Compass Card" seems to be coming soon (as per Jan 2015)
