Feel bad for people who have to use it every day!!! It was broken down for 24 hrs, you should see the amount of people that were trying to get on and go home from work!

The Sky Train does not have drivers which I found rather disconcerting at first. However, I soon got used to it and found the trains were quite punctual. The ticket machines gave me a few problems and I was surprised to see only spot checks are made to see if you have a ticket.

First time using the skytrain from the airport into downtown for a concert. Super easy to navigate, quick and inexpensive. They have people that work for skytrain helping you at the airport to buy your tickets if you were worried about that sort of thing.

The Sky Train is a great way to get downtown from the airport. Don't bother with a taxi! It's very convenient to step from your flight to the waterfront and beyond.

Skytrain (Expo/Millenium/Canada Line) system is convenient. It take you to most destinations where locals and tourists would visit. But this is where the good side ends. I am a proud resident of Vancouver but I hate to say that despite the money spent on our Skytrain system, the quality and standard is really lacking behind other international cities, specially many... My preferred choice of travel from the airport. Quickest and the most cost effective. If you are arriving at the south terminal however there isn't a direct link.

This is a quick way of getting around Vancouver. It gives the weary tourist a birds-eye view and different perspective of the ground level. But it is not a cheap way to travel

I found that the Skytrain will get you either close or right to your destination in a fast, efficient, safe manner. The views along the route are just outstanding. The best route is the Canada Line as it connects you from YVR (airport) to downtown Vancouver faster than a car,bus or even walking. The Skytrain cars are clean and the... More

If you are not traveling towards Vancouver around 7:30 am or away around 4 or 5pm, the service is good, trains are clean and you can actually (usually) have a sit. Safe to travel alone. Get a fair saver (10 tickets pack) at Safeway for reduced fair. A ticket is valid for about 90 min with unlimited transfers between bus... More
