We asked if they go to Granville island and the blonde driver responded they do. We paid, and after a harrowing ferry ride where the blonde driver steered with her feet while texting on her phone, we were dropped off adjacent to the wharf we wanted. We pointed out it was the other wharf we actually needed to go to... More

Julie originally asked to go Granville Island. Once there, she realized she actually wanted to go to a ferry terminal that False Creek Ferries does not have landing rights for. Our driver made every attempt to help Julie get to the closest terminal to her destination. More

A great way to get from A to B. False Creek Ferries offer serveral desitnations in thier taxi ferries that hold about 16 passengers. Would be nice if they ran a bit later into the evening, however the staff is friendly and it is definitely a great way to start off a day on Granville Island :)

...it is definitely worth it if you know you will explore False Creek over the course of the day. We went over to Granville Island from the Science Centre, then took two ferries over to Kitsilano Point and back to BC Place. We were lucky enough to have fantastic weather when visiting Vancouver. The ferries don't take long but do... More

We wanted to see False Creek and also go to Granville Island. False Creek Ferries is a fun way to see everything. Not expensive, but I would recommend getting the day pass and do a proper explore.

I took the ferries Granville Island one day then to the maritime museum the next day, the operators were friendly and gave me lots of information. Nice short river trips not expensive and a pleasant trip for all ages.

This was my favorite thing to do in Vancouver. Think of these little ferries as water taxis, going all over the False Creek area. On a Saturday we had to wait very little for our 5 rides. We got on near Yaletown and went to Olymipic Village near Science World; from there we walked along the waterfront to Spyglass, watching... More

We enjoyed stopping from the hop on hop off ferry at the Granville Island. It was a great place with a great feel. There were so many shops...with sales..that we gave out before the lovely shops. We enjoyed a snack in a relaxing setting. It is a must see area in Vancouver.

A good way to get around False Creek, to the Maritime Museum and Granville Island. If you don't know how many trips you're going to make, they should have an in-between ticket for a certain number of trips (e.g. card for 8 trips) - a couple of individual trips is still not enough to get a day price ticket.

These little ferries are quick, regular, efficient & friendly. I think they are a tiny bit more than when we used the aqua bus but also think they use stops the others don't
