I decided to go on the Forbidden. Vancouver Prohibition tour after visiting the Vancouver Visitor's Centre - and I was very glad I did. Tania was a very knowledgeable and entertaining guide that allowed you to walk/discover a lot of Vancouver city as well as learn of the history and forces that make the city tick. The walking isn't challenging,... More

We booked Forbidden Vancouver's “Lost Souls of Gastown” tour as a bit of a lark, not quite knowing what to expect. Neither of us generally like gimmicky tours with people jumping around scaring us or silly theatrics, so we both had a hefty measure of wariness for this one. We need not have worried at all. The guide presented as... More

We did the Prohibition tour around Gastown. Led by Storyteller Will who brought this era of Vancouvers' past vividly to life. A great tour and well worth taking some evening time out to enjoy.

Did this tour as a way of finding out more about the people and history of Vancouver. It was led by Tiffany who was excellent at dramatizing a fictional character who related true events about people and places. A very well done event, very enjoyable and highly recommended.

I found the Forbidden Vancouver website before leaving for a 9 day road trip from Calgary to Vancouver and then back to Calgary via the States (Seattle, WA/Coeur d'Alene, ID/ Whitefish MT). Our group was mainly driving through to see national parks and the gorgeous scenery in both Canada and the States but decided to throw a city tour in... More

Thanks for your kind review MunkeeGurl1971. Forbidden Vancouver tours are certainly different than parks and scenery, so thanks for giving us a chance and adding us to your road trip itinerary. We're glad to hear the Lost Souls of Gastown lived up to the hype. Hope to see you on our Prohibition City tour in the future! More

I was passing through Vancouver en route to a business retreat on Cortes Island and had a few hours to kill with some co-workers. Boy are we glad we spent it on the Prohibition Tour with Forbidden Vancouver. The tour was interactive with questions and quizzes for the group, and one of the most fun I've ever been on. The... Thanks for your kind review akloer. We're so glad you decided to spend your time in Vancouver with us, especially when it sounds as though you didn't have long to spend in the city. We've put lots of time and energy into our tours and we're pleased to hear you feel they really give visitors a flavour of the city.... More

Took this tour with a female named T. I can't remember her whole name anymore because there was so much information from start to finish and at the time. We signed up for this tour while browsing for things to do in Vancouver and walking tours are usually always a great place to start. Tours cost $22 per adult which... More

A walking tour of Gastown with a character from the 1800s was fun and interesting. My sister and I, along with 20+ others, were met by a young woman who told us her story as we walked through Gastown in Vancouver. She gave details of various historical events and pointed out landmarks all the while staying in character and recounting... More

My girlfriend and I did the Lost Souls of Gastown tour on a whim looking for an alternate take on Vancouver tourism. We were very happy with what we found. The tour is a great way to walk around parts of Vancouver while learning about some of the lesser known chapters of Vancouver's history. Our guide, in character, was terrific... More
