I must say that I was a little disappointed. I'm from Seattle and am used to the Coleman pool which is much better in my opinion. The Coleman pool has a much larger slide and diving boards. It actually feels heated. The Kitsilano pool was still cool. I'm sure it was heated and would have been even colder but several... More

Love the fact that you can be at the beck but swim in a safe environment in a salt water pool right on the beach.

We visited with our two kids - 8 and 12 - and had a good time. The weather wasn't very nice (63 and cloudy, rain every now and then) but since the water is heated the weather didn't really matter. The pool in itself is - apart from the size, wich is huge!!! - a regular pool, nothing special. What... More

The pool is huge, with the mountains behind. Heated, salt water is better than swimming in adjacent beach which is usually too shallow for good swimming. The shallow end goes gradually from the side to deeper; the deepest is still not too deep. Great for kids. Middle parts have reserved swimming lanes. This pool is multiple times bigger than the... The kits pool is a really great venue for kids and family. Beautiful beachside saltwater pool. Only complaint is the swimming lanes dividing pool from kiddy depth and 8ft deep. There's no real place to swim at a comfortable pace or leisure. Stanley park pool is a much better set up in that respect.

I am not sure of any other pools like Kits in the world that is public and as beautiful. I've been coming here since I was a child and I try to go if I visit Vancouver in the summer. It's busy yes but you can find zones where it's more mellow. Kits Beach is too much of a scene... More

This is a heated huge outdoor pool. Many years a go it was a smaller not heated pool. An avid swimmer, I have tried it on a couple of occasions. It is great fun for children on a hot day and otherwise to those who don't mind a wind. I have heard that a wind barrier may be in place... More

Swim in a MASSIVE pool and enjoy the amazing view of the mountains, English Bay and Kits beach. Lots of young people frequent this beach. This pool rocks!
