The 134m salt water pool is allegedly heated to 25 degrees but it felt cooler, though once you start swimming laps its just fine. The areas are well organised, i.e.laps and kids area. The lockers in the change rooms are a quarter, which you get back. The floors are rather dirty as could be expected, so make sure you have... More

The kids really enjoyed the pool, very well located, nice views.. But be aware, the water is not very warm... Other then that, was very nice.

Great pool, absolutely huge which means even on a very busy summer's day, it didn't feel too crowded. Lots of space around the pool. Very cheap entry fee and you can return later the same day, as you can stamp your hand on exit. Clean changing facilities and lockers available.

This is a 130m pool which is a long swim (12 lengths/mile) - we came with 2 kids under 2 who briefly enjoyed the shallows and toddler slide but quickly got cold. Although it's heated, it's really not warm enough with air chill for the little kids. Once the kids were warm and out, I went back to swim lengths... More

It was a warm Sunday afternoon in July. I had done some research of Kitsilano Park prior to my trip to Vancouver saving it for a day like today. The temperature was in the mid 80's and sunny. We had just finished a hike in Lynn Canyon so the conditions were right for visiting Kitsilano. The first thing you notice... More

Clean facilities without the usual staining/grime that you find at other pools. Plenty of room and places to sit and relax. Pool was warm and very big and despite it being salt water, didn't over-power you. Good value for money.

I must say that I was a little disappointed. I'm from Seattle and am used to the Coleman pool which is much better in my opinion. The Coleman pool has a much larger slide and diving boards. It actually feels heated. The Kitsilano pool was still cool. I'm sure it was heated and would have been even colder but several... More

Love the fact that you can be at the beck but swim in a safe environment in a salt water pool right on the beach.

We visited with our two kids - 8 and 12 - and had a good time. The weather wasn't very nice (63 and cloudy, rain every now and then) but since the water is heated the weather didn't really matter. The pool in itself is - apart from the size, wich is huge!!! - a regular pool, nothing special. What... More
