Our cousin who lives in Vancouver calls this his favourite place on earth. This is Vancouver's only public salt-water pool. I went with him four times at the end of the season. It was unseasonably warm during the week and as the final date approached the number of locals flocking to have a swim increased dramatically. The pool itself overlooks... More

Kitsilano Pool is always a great spot for the kids to enjoy a hot summer day or a great pool to get your laps in. Parking is a bit of a chore, but if you arrive early and walk a few blocks you don't have to pay to park. Park on the southside of Cornwall Ave towards York avenue heading... More

It may be big, but I don't like it for serious workouts. There are no lanes for swimming..just a big circle that everyone swims around like a school of tuna. Super annoying when it gets busy when slow fat old people get in my way. Also, one end narrows sharply cutting off people trying to turn. Bad design.

This has got to be one of the biggest outdoor swimming pools I have ever seen. It can hold up to one thousand people swimming and is a sea water pool .Can be very busy in the evenings .

This is a heated extremely large outdoor pool. That's all that needs to be said entrance fee very reasonable with a good number of lockers. The pool can a get a little busy at times with swimmers and sunbathers however this should not spoil your visit.

The 134m salt water pool is allegedly heated to 25 degrees but it felt cooler, though once you start swimming laps its just fine. The areas are well organised, i.e.laps and kids area. The lockers in the change rooms are a quarter, which you get back. The floors are rather dirty as could be expected, so make sure you have... More

Great pool, absolutely huge which means even on a very busy summer's day, it didn't feel too crowded. Lots of space around the pool. Very cheap entry fee and you can return later the same day, as you can stamp your hand on exit. Clean changing facilities and lockers available.
