Sounds a little nutty but it's true. And it's fabulous! Pool is great for length swimming. If you've got kidlets and want to keep a close eye on them, you may want to go to this pool rather than the beach. It's enclosed. It's monitored and a small fee for use. Parking and food available for a fee.

Nothing beats a sunny Vancouver day and swimming in the pool right alongside the ocean. And if you like lengths you can really utilize the long lanes.

A great outdoor pool located on one of the most beautiful beaches in Vancouver. Kitsilano is central to local restaurants and shops. You can swim in the pool, lie on the beach, go for lunch, shop and walk the seawall!

I love this pool. The layout is really nice and I like that it is run by the city. We bought a one month membership to the city pools, gyms etc the One Card for July. It was so nice knowing we could scan in whenever we were passing through, spend 30-60 mins at the pool and keep going on... More

Our cousin who lives in Vancouver calls this his favourite place on earth. This is Vancouver's only public salt-water pool. I went with him four times at the end of the season. It was unseasonably warm during the week and as the final date approached the number of locals flocking to have a swim increased dramatically. The pool itself overlooks... More

Kitsilano Pool is always a great spot for the kids to enjoy a hot summer day or a great pool to get your laps in. Parking is a bit of a chore, but if you arrive early and walk a few blocks you don't have to pay to park. Park on the southside of Cornwall Ave towards York avenue heading... More

It may be big, but I don't like it for serious workouts. There are no lanes for swimming..just a big circle that everyone swims around like a school of tuna. Super annoying when it gets busy when slow fat old people get in my way. Also, one end narrows sharply cutting off people trying to turn. Bad design.

This has got to be one of the biggest outdoor swimming pools I have ever seen. It can hold up to one thousand people swimming and is a sea water pool .Can be very busy in the evenings .

This is a heated extremely large outdoor pool. That's all that needs to be said entrance fee very reasonable with a good number of lockers. The pool can a get a little busy at times with swimmers and sunbathers however this should not spoil your visit.
