WORLD'S BEST FOOD TRUCK TOUR - This tour takes you on a two-hour tasting tour of Vancouver's multicultural curbside kitchens while learning about the tricky business of operating gourmet food trucks in Vancouver.

GUILTY PLEASURES GOURMET TOUR - Showcasing over five of downtown Vancouver's award-winning restaurants and food shops, you will sample gourmet food paired with optional wines and beer, meet award-winning food artisans and learn about Vancouver's food culture, history and architecture.

Nadia was an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide who took us to some of Vancouver's best restaurants and food shops. She explained the variety of flavours and textures at each venue. The tour was amazing I would recommend it to anyone who loves food. A great way to spend an afternoon with a like minded and friendly group.

We, amongst a group of 5 were expertly led by very knowledgeable private chef Nadia Cameron through some of Vancouver's best restaurants (including Kirin and Market by Jean-Georges), provisioning stop (Urban Fare), decadent chocolaterie (Thierry Chocolaterie Patisserie Cafe) and scrumptious and equally decadent gelato stop (Bella Gelateria). She was a wealth of information about each stop as well as many... More

Staying in Gastown

Neighborhood Profile
Gastown
A visit to Gastown is like turning back the clock and stepping into a bygone era. With the distinction of being Vancouver's oldest neighborhood, the many plaques that stud the cobbled streets of Gastown tell the story of its colorful past, giving Vancouver's history a more lively presence here than anywhere else. Having been originally founded around a popular worker's saloon, it's no wonder that today some of Vancouver's best micro-breweries, creative cocktail joints, and corner bars can be found in this area. Classical charm suffuses its many vintage boutiques and the brick-built structures that an army of creative professionals call home.
