Owner description: Vancouver Foodie Tours is a culinary tour company offering three unique food tasting and cultural walking tours: Granville Island Market Tour, World's Best Food Truck Tour, and Guilty Pleasures Gourmet Tour. The Granville Island Market Tour includes a cornucopia of fine foods from independent farmers and food artisans throughout Vancouver. Touring the Granville Island Public Market will be one of the most authentic ways to experience Vancouver - after all, what better way to feel the pulse of a city than to immerse yourself in the action? The World's Best Food Truck Tour takes visitors on a two-hour tasting tour of Vancouver's multicultural curbside cuisine while learning about the tricky business of operating gourmet food trucks in Vancouver. The Guilty Pleasures Gourmet Tour showcases over five of downtown Vancouver's award-winning restaurants and food shops. Guests sample gourmet food paired with optional wines and beer, meet award-winning food artisans and learn about Vancouver's food culture and architecture. The World's Best Food Truck Tour and Granville Island Market Tour are proud members of the CTC's Canadian Signature Experience program. Our tours are two to three hours in duration and provides sufficient food such that a meal afterwards is not necessary.

A couple months ago, I decided to sign myself and a friend up for the Guilty Pleasures Foodie Tour. I'm a Vancouverite and so admittedly, I was a little skeptical about learning anything new... And of course, I was wrong! The tour showcased the best that each restaurant had to offer in a friendly and fun setting. The tour, though... More

This tour was a delicious introduction into Canadian specialties and food of the local region, as well as the world. We did this two hour tour, guided by Nadia. She did an exception job sharing her thorough knowledge of produce and their origins with us. Even my 19 year old son has come away from this tour with a passion... More

Manuela (the stage actress/foodie) provided the most entertaining and delicious tour of downtown Vancouver haunts! We sampled a wide range of cuisine (amazing dim sum, urban market delights, delicious local pork sandwich and cold IPA, upscale Jean Georges, and the best gelato stop outside of Bologna, Italy!). Your stops may vary slightly depending on the day, but rest assured it... More

I'm not a big foodie but signed up for the tour as a way to see some of the market and was so glad I did! We tried tons of food and drinks, things I never would have thought to try otherwise. Our tour guide was a chef and had a really impressive culinary resume and we were so lucky... More

We had a great time on this tour. Our tour guide, Manuela, was energetic, friendly and very knowledgeable. The food was amazing and by the end I was so stuffed I needed a to-go box! Would definitely recommend! A great way to see parts of the city and to try 5 amazing restaurants that you otherwise would not have the... More

Visited 5 different places for gourmet food and beverages. Presentation of all items was amazing. Be warned, you really shouldn't eat before this tour. Guide Manuella was very informative and had some excellent suggestions for dining.

We had 7 people on the tour on our staff team. I have to say that Manuela was fantastic, knowledgeable, friendly and did a great job showing us around the island. I live right behind the island and I learned some things that I didn't know and was introduced to some great food. I would suggest it as a "gem... More

Such a wonderful tour! Loved the variety of stops, generous portions, and great quality food. Guide was fun and very knowledgeable. Will be taking my friends and family in the future. Good for locals and tourists.

We have gone on food tours in 7 different cities so far, and the Vancouver Foodie Tours company have some of the best we've been on. We originally booked their three tours - World's Best Food Trucks, Gourmet and Granville Island. However, we (sadly) will have to wait another time to do the Gourmet tour. For the Food Truck tour,... My wife and I have just completed the tour which comprised visits to five establishments in downtown Vancouver. What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. This was due largely to our guide, Manuela Sosa, who was not only knowledgeable about all the food we had, the venues we were in and places in between but had a great personality... More
