We have lived in Vancouver for 10 years and usually travel to other resorts to ski the beautiful mountains of British Columbia. This spring break we chose to try Cypress and what a discovery it was. Kids in scooter camp….awesome…..great instructors who understood the blend of interaction and fun….it is based on first come first booked…so get there early and... More

Cypress is the biggest and best of the the three local hills. There is enough to keep you busy for a day. You must take the Skychair on a clear day...the 360 degree panarama of mountain, ocean , and city is the most spectacular view in Canada - a more beautiful view than what you see at Whistler which is... If you are only able to visit local Vancouver mountains, then Cypress is your best choice. If not, I would recommend venturing further to some of the bigger mountains with better snow. The views are fantastic on a clear day though - especially from sky chair which only intermediates can visit. On a good day Cypress can be great. There... More

I've been snowboarding at Cypress since the day they started to allow it. I've ridden all three local mountains and Cypress is still best because of these reasons: Best terrain and access - it's easy to go from your car (if you have a good parking spot) to the lift. There's glade skiing, nice groomed runs, and even some backcountry... More

Amazing night!! We drove through the rain & it transformed into heavy snowfall half way up the mountain. It made for a very slow drive but an awesome snowshoeing experience. Paul was a great guide, he & Gillian took us off trail and hosted his version of the Hollyburn Olympics mid mountain. We had a blast!! The fondue was a... More

Cypress Mountain, above the clouds, blue skies, and a ton of snow. Not know. You would think there 100 cm of snow is enough, but no. Only a couple of blues and greens are open. I suggest, that if you could get to the top of the mountain (you would have to take the sky chair) on a cloudless day,... More

Just 30 minutes from downtown vancouver you get a decent mountain with 500 meter from foot to top of the mountain.

Our 3 yearold is learning to ski and we're trying the North shore ski hills. On Cypress' terrain map they have a magic carpet so we wanted to give it a go. We asked the sales person at the ticket wicket for tickets to use their magic carpet, Full fare for both adults and 3 year-old and he sends us... More

Ok it's early in the season so the lack of snow is just bad luck. Have been here for just over a week and have had some good days and bad days (today) in riding conditions. Fortunately I have season pass so I can just turn around and head home, for those paying by the day ....save your money this... More

It was my third time at Cypress. I usually go to other local mountains (Seymour, Grouse or Whistler) but this year so far not much snow so my family and I decided to give it a try and check out Cypress. Good mountain for the amount of snow we have right now. For lunch we decided to go at the... More
