These guys have a fun bike tour of Stanley Park that helps burn off the buffet from your cruise. If you've never been to the city before and are intimidated about renting a bike to do the park yourself, this is the perfect way to explore the top urban park in the world. I haven't tried the craft brewery tour... More

Our family of 6 (2 adults 4 teens) enjoyed a great tour of Vancouver with Josh. His enthusiasm and knowledge of all things Vancouver was great and his attitude and information was brilliant. A great way to see the city.

My boyfriend and I got into Vancouver in the afternoon and wanted to try and find something to do on a Monday afternoon where much seemed to be closed due to the lack of buzz just coming off the holiday season. We thought getting bikes would be nice to hit Stanley Park. The bike shop was able to accommodate us... More

This guy was very friendly and helpful. We did not have to reserve bike rentals at this time of year ( Dec). He gave us a map and clearly drew out recommended routes and places of interest. The transaction was fast as well. Bikes were great quality and tuned well. Total rental for the day for 2 adult bikes was... More

We took their 5 hour tour and had a great time in a beautiful city. The bikes were high quality and easy to ride, apecen if one hasn't ridden in many years.

My wife and I rented bikes for a day of cycling Stanley Park. We ended up covering more territory than the park and the bikes held up well for our extended tour. The people at Cycle City were easy going and knowledgeable and the prices were reasonable. Located slightly off the beaten path, the shop was free from the bustle... More

Staying in West End

Neighborhood Profile
West End
A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along with the sunrise, offering breathtaking views at any time of day. The West End merges together so many looks and flavors probably because it functions a hub: its the leafy pit-stop between nightlife and entertainment venues along Davie Street, and the shopping paradise that is Robson Street, offering visitors beautiful parkland to rest on, and quick, easy food to re-fuel with in between ventures.
