Went here instead of Capilano on our trip to Vancouver last week. Totally free, beautiful spot. Suspension bridge, leaves were changing, waterfall. If you just want nature and not the 'stuff' at Capilano, save yourself the money and go here - and leave a donation if you love it! more

Say you are visiting Vancouver; and you have never heard of Tripadvisor; you would invariably be coaxed onto visiting Capillano suspension bridge and fobbed off $30. Some would argue that you deserve what you get for missing to pay Tripadvisor a visit. Lynn Canyon is as good as the reviewers say it is; and it is free. The verdant trail(s)... more

After coming down from Grouse Mountain we went to Lynn Canyon, wife and 2 teens. Crossed the suspended bridge on our way to the cliff faced jumping gorge we heard of. It was the place to be on a hot summer day. Water cool to cold and exhilarating. People in the stream area amongst the rocks and many hanging around... more

We went here while trying to decide whether to visit this or Capilano which cost about $40 each. We decided we would try the free one as we didn't have much time and found it to be a very nice park with some waterfalls, a suspension bridge and a nice clear deep pool at the bottom to sit by. The... more

My family of four loved this park. The suspension bridge was a treat for my two teenagers, but the best part was the family friendly hikes throughout the park. Nothing extraordinary -- just perfect for a family outing and conducive for quality time together. A real gem, especially since the park if free of charge. The only drawback was how... more

Thanks, TripAdvisor, for pointing out another half-hidden gem. The guidebooks barely mention Lynn Canyon, but it's beautiful, fun and free of charge. Our son loved the moving suspension bridge, and I enjoyed feeling it sway. The hiking trails provided a closeup look at the tall trees and ferny undergrowth. And with the sound of the stream in the background, it... more

Lynn canyon has a big suspension bridge, and fantastic hiking trails. It is also FREE. We were on a budget so we could not squeeze in the huge fee at the Capilano Bridge, and so we went to Lynn Canyon instead. We had such a wonderful time. The cafe is good but expensive. Bring food and eat on the picnic... more

Easily one of my favorite places on Earth. I would highly recommend swimming in the falls if you can take the cold. more
