This place is excellent to see Vancouver. Although it's consider smaller and quieter than other lookout. It still a place worth to visit.

Perhaps if you go at night if will be better to see the city lights or maybe even in the summer when the sun is out and reflecting off all the glass building but it rained my whole time there and my tour was during the day and it was really nothing to see other than going up high to... More

This is an overly complicated and expensive tourist trap with which we wasted our time and money. There is a view but it is not worth the $16.50 we paid to see it and afterwards we felt forlorn and cheap.

After having been in some of the tallest buildings in the world, I almost gave this place a pass. But, when my friend and I arrived back in city centre about 30 min before sunset, we decided to give it a go. I'm glad that we did, as the city felt a whole lot bigger up there. For someone like... I'm sure a lot of folks like being able to see an entire town from high up, but this was nothing special (my experience). It's about $20 Canadian (about $14 USD currently). an elevator zips you up to the top and then you walk around the circular viewing area checking out each view. Okay, I guess that's fine and enough... More

This is the best place to see Vancouver as it offers a view of the entire city. It is great to come here in the afternoon and at night. There is a restaurant at the top that also offers this view. The ride up the elevator is also an attraction on its own as it is glass elevator and you... More

Easy to access, the lookout is a great way to get your bearings around the town and looks down on the nearby Gastown and Downtown areas with a great view of the Harbour and Stanley Park.

While the price of admission isn't too inexpensive (around 12-18 US dollars), the best part is that you can visit as many times as you want from the time you purchase admission, to the end of that day. I loved the beautiful views from here. I plan on making a trip here every once and while to take it all... More

Totally worth about 30 minutes to 1 hour of your day. We had fun reading about the history of Vancouver. Free admission if you eat at the restaurant. We just went to the lookout and thought it was cool.

Staying in Gastown

Neighborhood Profile
Gastown
A visit to Gastown is like turning back the clock and stepping into a bygone era. With the distinction of being Vancouver's oldest neighborhood, the many plaques that stud the cobbled streets of Gastown tell the story of its colorful past, giving Vancouver's history a more lively presence here than anywhere else. Having been originally founded around a popular worker's saloon, it's no wonder that today some of Vancouver's best micro-breweries, creative cocktail joints, and corner bars can be found in this area. Classical charm suffuses its many vintage boutiques and the brick-built structures that an army of creative professionals call home.
