We went here first on our stopover in Vancouver. It is a great way of getting an overview of the city and getting you bearings. There are lots of plaques to read giving info on key sites. Not the most impressive lookout tower in the world eg the tree in Tokyo is far more impressive but still interesting.

We did the Vancouver lookout during our trip in August. The views was definitly nice, but I remove one star because of the price. Don't get me wrong... it was nice... but overpriced in my opinion.

I'm usually not big on "Lookouts" or "Overlooks" like this ...but this one was worth it. The elevator can be a but challenging for those afraid of heights (my wife had to face the inside wall) ...but once you get to the top the views are impressive. As stated in other reviews, the free guided tour around the tower is... More

Very cloudy day when we visited but still good views of Vancouver. Took part in an organised tour, which was included in ticket price, and guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Hubbie not great with heights so external lift was a bit of a challenge but myself and so. Enjoyed it very much. Definitely should be on to-do list in... More

My wife and I took in the Vancouver Lookout as one of the last things we did over a three day weekend and we both realized we should have *started* our sightseeing here. First of all, the (free) guided tour is a must. The guide we had was very knowledgeable about all the history and architecture of the area with... More

This was definitely a must see attraction and the good news is that it is very reasonably priced! If you have a student ID it's even cheaper. For those of you that don't do well with heights, you may want to close your eyes or turn around for the ride up since the elevators are completely glass in the front.... More

We went up in the Lookout Tower after doing the Big Bus Hop-On/Hop-Off tour of Vancouver, for a totally different perspective than what we had on the bus. The 360-degree view of the city from a height of about 400 feet or so above street level, was quite lovely and there were signs all around the top of the tower... More

This lookout gives you a panoramic 360* view of Vancouver from atop the Harbour Centre. Helpful plaques and guides tell you what you are viewing. I watched a cruise ship pull out from the marina and got a good view of the water and mountains. A good, reasonably- priced downtown attraction.

We received tickets to this attraction as part of the Rocky Mountaineer train trip we were on. It was easy to find and we had a nice clear day to view the sites of the city from the top. When we got off the elevator I asked about a guided tour which they said would start in 2 minutes. The... More
