From the clear glass elevator rides up and down to the 360 degree viewing platform, the Vancouver Lookout is an awesome landmark visit to visit to get an overview feel over the landscape of the City Center or downtown area of Vancouver, which then definitely gives great ideas to visit certain spots afterwards!

We visited Vancouver for the first time in April 2014, and the Vancouver Lookout Tower offers a breathtaking 360 degree view of the city. The view of Vancouver Harbor, Canada Place, and Stanley Park are spectacular. Our 1 1/2 year old son spent most of the time wandering the walkway, and showed little interest in the views. The price of... More

You shouldn't leave Vancouver without venturing up the Lookout tower to see the 360 degree views across the city. And although you might not want to be accompanied by a guide, in practice it is well worth it as they know so much and can point out to you lots of details that otherwise you might miss. It's quite pricey,... More

My wife and I visited the Vancouver Lookout Tower during our recent visit to the city. From the height of the tower, you see a very good aerial view of the large city and its surrounding areas. The place is well maintained and attracts large number of tourist every day.

We had a pass for this place with our Rocky Mountaineer fare, so we decided to go up and see. The view is a 360 degree one of the Vancouver area and it is stunning. There is a little bit of explanation of what you're seeing on signs and there is a tour every so often. It's not cheap, but... More

I started my day here taking in the views that the city has to offer. The outside lift is not actually mentioned anywhere it seems so it came as a little bit of a surprise to me, however it was nice to experience the rush that comes with that kind of thing. The lift opens up into a small foyer... More

I swear... I've seen this tower before. Sure enough, the footnotes say that the same firm (WZMH architects) worked on this lookout as well as the Toronto CN tower. Well, it is not as tall, but tourists can't be too picky. It's probably not the must-stop destination for skyscraper aficionados but for everybody else it will do. The 360 degree... More
