This would be good as a start point to Vancouver to get some idea of the general geography. We did after 3 days and it is was good in a different way. Spotting locations where we had been and wanted to go to was great fun. We did it on a mid morning Saturday and it was pleasingly quiet so... More

I visited the lookout as part of tour group. Our booking was handled smoothly and we were taken to the top with no delay. The views around the city were spectacular and gave a great perspective of how the area is set out. Highly recommended to all visitors.

Any lookout should provide plenty of uninterrupted views, preferably 360 views, and the lookout certainly does that. But, some of the buildings described within the lookout are not easily visible (if at all) because many high-rise buildings have been erected since the lookout was built. Also, a photo of a building (like the city hall) taken at ground level is... More

Today we enjoyed a trip up the Vancouver Lookout. The glass elevator that took us up on the outside of the tower added a little excitement for some, including us. The views are great and gives a great picture of the shape and size of the city, and also the beautiful mountains that lie to the north. Our disappointment was... More

I don't know what took me so long to get here. I live here and found it very informational. At every three or four steps is a short easy-to-read writeup of what to notice and the related history. It never occurred to me to take a photo of the scenery - it was just so interesting to look at it.... More

I'd say, this would be the best place after a date. Best for couples, and secondly, best for families. For solo-travellers like me, it's something to take-in, but also to take the time to enjoy. You just spent a meal's worth of money, might as well enjoy the stroll. I'd definitely go on the second, third, or later days of... More

We arrived at 10.30am planning on returning that evening as well (a ticket normally allows you full access for that day). After purchasing our tickets they advised us it wouldn't be opened that evening due to a function and gave us complimentary tickets for the next night. This was useless to us as we were leaving the next morning. The... More

As we have yet to visit The Shard in London, this is obviously very similar. Wonderful, sweeping views of the city and surrounding water. Certainly got some great shots on camera. This is something you can always squeeze in whilst sightseeing in the area. An hour (or less) is fine.

Vancouver Lookout is a tower with viewing deck that overlooks downtown Vancouver and the harbor. It's a beautiful view on a clear day - and a must for first time visitors to the city. In less than an hour you can see all the sights and get a good bearing on the city to explore from ground level.

Fast trip to the top, excellent viewing area with fantastic sign boarding giving you information about what you can see. We went as part of our Landsea Tour of Vancouver. Well worth a visit.
