Came for a Whitecaps game. Easy access from public transportation. Sat 4 rows from the field for a fraction of the cost that I've spent for other sporting events. It was a beautiful afternoon with the open roof. Great experience.

Watched Pink Floyd play here in 1994 and it was the most amazing concert I have ever seen. So I thought I'd review it all these years later. If they still do big show concerts there its a great venue with a great crowd.

Good game, sold out attendance, fantastic crowd. All lines for F&B were quick and washroom lineups were not an issue. Can't wait to go back.

What can I say... it's functional. But... it has no character, nothing that makes it memorable or sets it apart from other modern concrete stadia. It's particularly bad for concerts because of the terrible acoustics. For football games, even the front row seats are too far from the field to feel like your 'in the game' Best view is via... Home to the Vancouver Whitecaps Soccer and B.C. Lions Football teams. Not so great for concerts....poor sightlines and boomy sound. Food and beverage ccncessions are way over-priced.

Thank you for the review of BC Place, and appreciate your comments about the concert sound quality. Our recent revitalization which was completed in 2011 included sound dampening panels and fabrics in the roof to reduce the echo, and reviews of the sound quality from the Paul McCartney concert, Taylor Swift, Roger Waters' THE WALL and Justin Timberlake/JayZ concerts were... The stadium is a great place to watch sporting events or to go to a event - like BC Home and Garden Show. Its new roof is great - it feels airy and can even be opened if weather permits. All seats are good for seeing an event.

Thank you for your excellent review and kind comments! We're glad you made it down for the Home and Garden Show, and hope that you will make it back to BC Place this summer for a BC Lions or Vancouver Whitecaps match with the roof open! More

Because of my previous life, I have spent a lot of time in B.C. Place Stadium since it opened in 1983. It was a great stadium back then and made way better when they took the teflon roof off and rebuilt it a couple of years ago. It cost $500 million, which made me gasp, but when it opened it... More

Thank you for the wonderful review of BC Place! As mentioned in your review, the stadium was revitalized in 2010-2011. During the revitalization, we were able to change aspects of the stadium that needed improving, and enhance areas that worked well. Overall the result has been a more efficient stadium for day-to-day operations, an incredible venue for our clients, and... More
