Great Football Stadium!

I am a Season Ticket holder to the BC Lions Football Team. Not a bad seat in the place. Retracting roof is great on Sunny days.

I was there for the first time to be part of the Vancouver boat show wow what an experience. Who would believe that they could fit so many boats into this place! I was working the B.R.P. Evinrude booth and it took me one day just to see what was displayed in here. All the different levels that the different... More

BC Place has improved a lot with the new roof. Covered in rain open in the sun. All sports venues are a bit overpriced. Biggest complain is over serving of beer. Some men just don't know when to quit and it makes it unpleasant for everyone around them. Staff don't seem to have any way of monitoring when too much... More

This reminds me of Rogers centre in Toronto. It has nice lighting at night. And beside the famous science world globe. So take a walk in this area at night. It looks way better

I went to this stadium when I saw the Seattle Sounders play the Vancouver Whitecaps in May of this year. The staff were incredibly helpful, polite, and professional. The upper section was closed off to the public. The staff process the tickets quickly. There are almost no bad seats in this stadium. The stadium is very easy on the eyes.... More

The stadium is definitely worth a visit. On a sunny day the roof will be open. The Whitecaps are a fun experience if they actually score a goal!

Thank you for reviewing BC Place Stadium. Our cable-supported fabric roof is the largest of its kind in the world - designed and engineered specifically for Vancouver’s climate, following rigorous engineering and architectural studies. But most importantly, BC Place is able to hold events in comfort with a year-round events schedule. The position of the retractable roof – either “open”... More

Went to BC place three times on my recent trip, twice to see Vancouver Whitecaps play, and then once to see AC/DC in concert. The stadium itself is lovely. Very clean, loads of space and the staff are all very helpful. The atmosphere during the concert and both games was amazing, the sounds during the concert were great, no echo... More

We are happy to hear you were able to visit the stadium three times on your last trip to Vancouver! Our Housekeeping, Hosting and Security staff work very hard to ensure the stadium is clean, inviting and safe for all of our guests. As part of our revitalization back in 2011, a new state-of-the-art sound system as installed in the... More

I liked the "family" sized stadium where you feel connected with fellow fans and not separated by lower & upper sections. The middle opening in the roof beamed sunshine on one half the soccer field (shining in one goalie's eyes) and shade on the other side of the stadium. Unlike Seattle stadiums, the walking access seemed a bit limited. Appreciated the... More

We appreciate you acknowledging the positive atmosphere in the stadium during your last visit! Our secondary roof is put in place for both of our home teams, the Vancouver Whitecaps of MLS and the BC Lions of the CFL, to create a more intimate atmosphere for the fans - with the secondary roof in place, we are still able to... Staying in Yaletown & False Creek North

Neighborhood Profile
Yaletown & False Creek North
Yaletown has risen from the ashes of its rough-and-tumble industrial past into one of Vancouver's new chicest neighbourhoods. The place responsible for originating of the phrase 'skid row' might not call to mind independently-owned boutiques and terraced cafes, but having swallowed the waterfront lines of False Creek North, the resulting amalgamation transformed the area into an elegant, stylish hotspot with a view. Its youthful vibe owes to the many young families and young professionals who live there, bolstering nightlife and restaurant variety along its cobbled streets. It is the flagship neighbourhood for modern revitalization, and the It-Spot for boutique hotels and modish eats.
