to Garibaldi Lake. However once you get there you are in for a real treat. It is one of the most beautiful lakes in the world - a beautiful colour but very cold. If you want the great view without the very hard hiking you may want to choose to take the gondola up Whistler early and spend several hours... More

If you like hiking, skiing and mountain biking this shouldn't be missed. Garibaldi is a large provincial park - many different access points. Try mountain biking or hiking to Elfin Lakes. Stay overnight in the well equipped Elfin Hut. Climb the Black Tusk or stroll through the Black Tusk Meadows in August. Try the hike to Wedgemont Lk - more... More

Been here many times in the winter. The trail up to the lake is tedious but worth it. Skied and snowshoed and think snow shoe is the way to go. In the summer the lake is very beautiful. More

Love this aarea! I hike a lot, and there are so many great hikes here. Panorama ridge, the tusk, Garibaldi lake, Opal cone, even the quick and easy ones like Cheakamus are decent for beginners. This is THE place to go if you want to see our mountains and parks via trails. There are several here that you can snowshoe,... More

The drive from Vancouver takes about 90 minutes to two hours. The hike from the car park to the meadows takes about three to four hours. The onward walk to Garibaldi lake requires an additional hour. By the time you spy the lake for the first time you are already feeling rather tired. And then the view just washes over... More

Fantastic views of the Garibaldi Lake and surrounding mountains with glaciers . The trail is well mark, and easy. There is campground on the lake and plenty of room. Lots of birds and animals. Water in the lake is clear and reflects all mountains around the lake. Love it. More
