Nice area by the downtown. Lots of people walking, jogging, and biking. Great place to view the sunset. Fee parking. Worth the visit.

Great place to take a walk. You can be in Stanley Park for a picnic, Granville Island for a coffee or shopping, downtown Vancouver in the Convention Center all in a few minutes of car distance. It like being in San Francisco ! If you are in good shape, you can to all of this in bike from the Seawall... More

Went sea kayaking along the waterfront and then walked back. Smoothly from one of the cafe. Sunshine. Kids playing. Views of the harbour to die for. If only the pool had been still open I would have been in heaven $(kits pool is my favourite in the world)

I really wasn't impressed by any of the beaches in Vancouver. They just seemed dirty and not very appealing. The only real positive is the views from the beaches.

This is a great beach. The view is simply amazing. There is a large pool just by the beach. Not free, but affordable.

If your looking for views and a nice place for a walk, give this place a visit. Easy access on public transit and lots of places to eat near by. I prefer going in the off season when there isn't a lot people around.

This beach has something for everyone, you can relax on the sand, go swimming, do watersports nearby, play volleyball, children can play in the park and you can walk, bike, skate along the walkway! Its worth a visit to the Boathouse while your here, amazing views while the sun is setting.

On one hand, it's just one of the many beaches on both sides of English Bay. On the other hand, they are all nice, and Kitts Beach has a saltwater swimming pool and other facets than differentiate it.

Yes even in Canada, land of the Great White North you can swim in the ocean and not freeze to death. In Kitsilano, just minutes from downtown Vancouver, is a large sandy beach serviced by city change rooms, washrooms and concessions. When we were there in August the sun was hot, the lifeguards were watching from their stands with their... More
