Really nice clean beach away from the main town area of Vancouver. Just a word of advice, follow the seaside pathway and don't try and take a shortcut through the built up areas as the signposting is a little off and you might end up in the wrong location. The beach was busy but not crowded for a hot summer's... More

A popular spot for tourists and locals, Kits beach is very clean and great for those of all ages. It does get quite busy on weekends and holidays. There is a lifeguard on duty and there is ample parking. There is a restaurant, bathrooms, changing rooms and showers.

Beautiful, family-friendly beach in Vancouver. Clean beach with clean, safe swimming (life-guard in attendance) and much-used by locals and visitors alike. Many amenities available, so you can spend the day here happily.

Because of its location, Kits Beach is often overlooked by visitors and mostly enjoyed by locals. Over the last few years, it has received, and keeps getting, a lot of attention from the City. The volleyball courts are often crowded, there is a high-end sit down restaurant attached in a modern building which includes clean public washrooms, change rooms and... More

I lived in this area over 30 years ago and was able to re-visit recently. The beach hasn't changed all that much, which is a good thing. It's probably the busiest beach in the Vancouver area because of it's proximity to downtown and the populous Kitsilano area. When the weather gets warm the beach gets crowded, but heck, it's a... Love the kits beach with its proximity to good eats and transit. Love SUP, or paddling? No problem. There's rentals. Love people watching, playing volleyball or shooting hoops? No probs. You have it all. Family picnic? No problem. There's plenty of room on or off the sand with a kids play park. The park is geared towards the older toddlers... More

We took a cab from the Pan Pacific to see the beach. It is a nice beach area and great for walking. We did not go in the water as it was not the weather for that. Lot of people were enjoying the park and beach. Fun place to walk around.

Kits is the local neighbourhood where the cool Millennial crowd now live and hang out. If you are young, Kits is where you come to rent as real estate pricing is in the millions. Expensive, cool and Vancouver chique Kits beach overlooks the North Shore Mountains and downtown. Recommend you try the walk ways and check out some of the... More

It's a nice clean beach to stroll along on any day but especially if it is hot and sunny. There are volleyball courts made up on the beach and a club meets there in the evening one night a week weather permitting. Plenty of seats along the path and nice views of North Vancouver.
