Lots of sand to catch the rays with logs strategically placed for leaning...has a great restaurant ( Boathouse ) and a cycle and pedestrian path through the heart of it. Has a few beach volleyball courts set up and makes for excellent viewing...has competitions at various times during the summer.

Such a view! so vibrant with all the people busy in sports or sunbathing on the beach. The pool is best for swimming, however the beach volleyball is a Kits tradition. And did I mention, what a view!!! Paradise for those who love to walk.

Was peak summer and the beach was very crowded. Guess its good for fun activities, and found a lot of people playing beach volleyball, The sand was not exactly fine and waters were pretty shallow for swimming as it was low tide.

A beach with views, concessions, top class restaurants, a great walk way, swim platform..... I love being here at sunset and watching the sun set over English Bay and the Mountains. Parking can be challenging in summer and its costly but worth it.

I enjoyed this beach, best place to be for the fireworks and some volleyball. What more to say, near the water, a place to throw your towel down and chill or get up and play some volleyball.

Kits Beach as the locals call it, is a perfect combination of sprawling sandy beaches, great biking and walking trails, volleyball courts, dog parks, Kits pool and not to forget the pristine blue waters of English Bay. There are plenty of areas for picnics and large or small group parties. Be aware that alcohol is not permitted...but we always take... More

We went to the pool instead. The kids enjoyed the 0 entry and slides. Have a 4 and 9 year old and both enjoyed it. Huge pool. It was busy but it was so big it didn't matter. Found a spot to lay our towels right by the boardwalk and pool. Great people watching while close to the beach to... More
