Affordable $5.50 return and convenience of running every 6 minutes. Young captains are capable navigators/captains. Very convenient.

Take this little ferry, especially if you're with kids. It is a short ride to Granville Island and you can spot harbour seals along the way. My kids loved it. Captain and his assistant are very nice and helpful.

Took the AquaBus from Yaletown to Granville Island and back. Friendly staff and a lot of fun. Got some great views of the city. And, it was the most convenient way for us to get to Granville.

Took ferry from Granville Island back to downtown Vancouver. Took 45secs and cost $3.50. Saved us a 30 min walk, in the heat.

Any visit to Vancouver should include a stop at Granville Island, which is a delightful maze of gorgeous food, drink, crafts and gifts. You are sure to find that special momento here, as we did. And the best way to get here is an Aquabus - cute little boats with rainbow coloured side panelling that run all year round and... More

We took the aquabus from Vancouver to Granville Island. They run about every 7 minutes and are free if you have a Hop On Hop Off bus ticket.

Caught the aquabus because it looked cute and wasn't disappointed even though a little expensive for the short distance travelled. Driver very informative on local area and places we passed. Must go on one for novelty value.

The ferries carry up to 30 people and bicycles are accommodated. It's a fun and scenic way to go to various parts of the city by water.

I think the ferries are cute and staff is nice however you pay the same price as for the Ferry creek ferries but they do not go to the maritime museum which is the longer trip so if you get a day pass and expect to go to the Maritime museum you will have to pay an extra 6 dollars... More

Its a good way to get from Granville island back over to Vancouver. Nothing special, just an interesting way to move about. Don't go out of your way to experience it.
