My husband and I plus my brothers received the Craft Beer & Bites Tour as a Christmas gift this year. What an excellent surprise! Who wouldn't love a Gastown pub crawl? Our tour guide, Dustin, met us promptly at Waterfront Station and immediately ushered us over to the Rogue where reserved seating, a flight of beer and fantastic "bites" were... More

We just did the Vancouver Food Tour Gastown and had a great time. Our tour guide Brent was awesome, took us to some really neat places and learned a lot of things about the history of Gastown. Will definitely have to try the Little Italy tour!

My boyfriend and I went on a gastown tasting tour and it was so fun! Our tour guide Christine was so knowledgeable, fun to hang out with and kind. The food was delicious with great variety. 100% recommend booking this as part of the gastown experience!

I booked a private tour for my husbands birthday with 12 of our friends. Our host Christina was fantastic, very attentive and knowledgeable. The 4 spots that we visited had really great food and delicious signature alcoholic beverages. Each place had a different style, vibe and menus which was nice not to have anything repeated. I would definitely recommend this... More

A Vancouver Food Tour is a great activity for anyone visiting the city or lives here themselves. Our tour guide was friendly and knowledgable, offering the group information about the beers we drank, and teaching us how to pair them with food. I found the tour highly informative and enjoyable; a great way to spend an afternoon or evening. It... More

Hello! I rarely write reviews but I felt compelled to do so for the Gastown 'Beer and Bites' food tour as they definitely exceeded our expectations! I live and work in Yaletown (5 mins from Gastown) and was amazed by how much I learned about such a historic neighbourhood in my own backyard. We discovered a variety of very cool,... More

We had so much fun tonight on our food tour. The restaurants were all unusual and interesting. I enjoyed them immensely. Carols was a fabulous guide and facilitated interesting conversation amongst the crowd. My favorite part was that he stayed with us for about an extra hour entertaining us. So much fun. I'm so baffled by the previous review. I... More

Yikes, I feel like an outlier with all these 5 star reviews. Did I have a good time? Yes. Why did I have a good time? Because of the other people on the tour. Was the tour guide charismatic and/or was the food/drink outstanding? No Would I recommend this to a friend? No, that's why I gave it 2 stars.... More

We have a group of 16 on a private tour with Caitlyn. The four venues were great....lots of selection for both food and alcohol. The venues were already prepared and setup for when we got there which made for a very enjoyable night. Yes. I would definitely recommend this tour!

Staying in Chinatown

Neighborhood Profile
With the recent exodus of massive new building projects hitting the neighbourhood, Chinatown; which has always been one of the city's most vibrant areas; is even more buzzing and buoyant than ever before. Playing host to some of the city's best pan-Asian cuisine, from fusion food to traditional home-cooking, Chinatown has remained faithful to its roots as a space which clambers with shop signs and welcomes diners to the table. More that that, it has a hip experimental vibe to it, with trendy pop-ups and catchall market shops. The biggest of Canada's Chinatowns, it is also home to an expansive Chinese garden whose manicured grounds inspire and delight, its ponds and pagodas drawing walkers in for an stroll. Take in the red streetlights, the playful awnings, and the upbeat air that suffuse this area.
