Tasty food and great drinks. An enjoyable stroll around downtown Vancouver with an excellent guide and an interesting bunch of travellers. A bit of history and some good laughs too!

Pretour: My wife and I had a wonderful experience on the Gastown Tasting Tour. We didn't have any problem finding our guide Carlos inside the beautiful Waterfront station. Carlos is actually the GM for Vancouver Food Tours and explained that the company was surprised to receive a couple less than 5-star TripAdvisor reviews recently and we he was leading our... More

Last night my husband and I went on the Gastown Tasting Tour. We had an awesome time! We started the tour in the Waterfront terminal which is a beautiful historic building. We lucked out with a small tour of only 4 people. This made the experience feel very catered to our needs. First we hit Rouge which had the best... More

Very disappointed in this tour. Given how many amazing restaurants were in the vicinity, I was quite surprised to find our first stop was a chain restaurant inside the train station. While the quality of the food and drink improved after this first stop, I must say that for how much this tour costs ($105) the portions and selections were... More

The company seems very disorganised - the guide wasn't sure how many destinations we were going to visit. In the end we did visit 4 destinations and were given some small snacks at each. For the price charged the food quantity and quality was woefully inadequate. There was really nothing special here and the whole tour fell week short of... More

I saw some reviews saying there wasn't enough food, but we were all quite satisfied with the quality and quantity of the food and drinks. The guide (Kendall) accommodated my vegetarian status on the fly -- which was great. Excellent post-tour recommendations as well. Fun time had by all.

With an upcoming project on Molson's Old Style Pilsner, a classmate and I decided to take a tour of the Molson Brewery. We met our friendly tour guide, Harris, outside of the Molson Brewery and he led the group through the intake process of receiving shipments. Harris was very knowledgeable and easily had us understand the process. We toured the... More

Took 8 of my colleagues on the Gastown Tour in January and we had a great time! I wanted to do something different than just going out for dinner together, so had called up rather last minute to see if our group could be accommodated. Carlos was SUPER helpful in coming up with a plan for us for the next... More

Started at the pub inside the train station with piddly servings of chilli and Mac n cheese. Moved to a decent mixology bar with informative staff and decent snack servings. Then to a wine bar with small servings of cheese and cold cuts. Since we were obviously starved, the last stop was a Chinese restaurant for fried rice, and half... More

I booked a Beer and Food tour as a Christmas present for my boyfriend and it was absolutely worth it! We got a chance to discover 3 places with really good food and really good beer. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable, and the staff at each location had a clear passion for their product. The pairings were great and... More
