We were 2 Turkish ladies and visited Vancouver at the end of August for 2 days. In our 1st. day We decided to go Granville Island and took a aquabus tour. Which we had really fun. And ıt was just 10 minutes to go! ANd what a fantastic market they have. Cheese, fresh vegatables and fruits, organic honey, flowers, cookies,... More

I have spent 50 years living in or near Vancouver, but did my first City Harbour tour last month. I took a ton of pictures as I saw Vancouver from a whole new perspective. I always knew it was one of the most beautiful cities in the world, but seeing it from the harbour showed it at its best. Highly... More

This is any enjoyable activity for any age group. You get a fantastic vantage point from the water looking back at the city and the mountains. The scripted little talk is actually quite informative and you will not get closer to the massive container ships, freighters and cruise ships.

I did a half day tour of the City Habour. It was a wonderful and unique way to see the city we even got to see some of the local wild... More

Being from Oahu you can imagine that I have seen my fare share of beautiful ocean scenery but tour Vancouver from the water was amazingly beautiful and once we left the city... More

We had a wonderful time on our charted cruise with Vancouver Boat Tours.com. Yvette and John really know there stuff and showed us parts of Vancouver I bet even the locals don't know about. I haven't been so relaxed since we took a week long cruise to Mexico. There is just something about the water that is just the perfect... More

Whether you're a local or not, I highly suggest Vancouver Boat Tours. Being a local myself, I figured I had seen all parts of Vancouver and surrounding areas. Boy, was I wrong! Right from the start, the skipper was nice and easy to engage. The boat was easy to get to, and the life jackets well maintained and easy to... More

Vancouver is an amazing international city that lies at the edge of the Pacific Ocean. In all the time I have lived in Whistler, I never took the opportunity to discover the local islands and coves that are all within a 30 minute boat journey by charter boat from Granville Island. I sure was lucky to discover Vancouver Boat Tours... More

I recently had a boat tour around Vancouver with vancouverboattours.com and I have to say, it was a very pleasant experience. Given my job as a freelance real estate agent, you could just imagine the stress that I get from my job and I imagine many people are experiencing the same thing. The tours that they give are so relaxing,... More

Neighborhood Profile
Granville Island & Fairview
One of the favoured neighbourhoods for a day out, Granville Island's packed theatres and art studios, hobby shops and book stores, restaurants and bars, all offer a plethora of activities and entertainment options, leaving no one bored. The highlight of the area is the Fisherman's Wharf, where the seagulls overhead and the smell of the sea invigorate its many visitors, some of who are there to shop the fresh wares at the public market, and others of whom have arrived to take in the eclectic atmosphere. A popular seafood destination, and Vancouver's leading spot for improv and amateur theatre, Granville Island is an indulgent, welcoming entertainment centre in any season or time of day.
