A walk around the Bay was great. Nice breeze, beautiful sunset even with a lot of ships in the view. Lots of interesting characters and you can walk as far as you want. Great place.

The most popular beach in Vancouver, it offers a variety of eating and drinking places just off the beach. Well maintained, this is a popular spot all season long, but particularly during the Summer. Good swimming and usually a good place to stretch out....on rare occasion like the fireworks competition...you can always find a good spot!

On a sunny day go walk there. Beautifully maintained walkways, chipmunks galore and some other small furry animal families walking around.

I love coming here and watching the sunset. It is a very beautiful and natural spot. Can access the Sea Wall and walk around Stanley Park. Nice vibe, good vendors, washrooms, concession. Worth spending some time here. I come a few times a week in nice weather.

A long-time sightseeing spot in one of the world's most beautiful cities, English Bay has been gentrified, but there's nothing wrong with that. Lots of places to walk, cycle, shop and eat - and there's always a world-class view ready for the sampling. For a visitor to Vancouver, this is a must-see. And for those with strong legs, it serves... More

What other city can you walk a few minutes and are by the sea, then you get to walk around sea wall. The walkways are well planned, and skating and cycle ways are kept separate which is safer.

Every summer when I was living in Vancouver, this is the beach I must go to as often as possible when the weather is nice. This beach is connected with Stanley Park, so whenever I do cycling from Stanley Park, I continue forward to see this beach. The view is amazing just for a walk and fresh air, sight seeing,... More

The Sylvia Hotel overlooks English Bay. The bay is situated from Granville Bridge to Stanley Park. Watch the wonderful sunsets and see the numerous sailing craft, enjoy the seawall walk, the flowers, trees and tranquil setting.
