A trip to English Bay is like a journey back to the Vancouver of the 50's. While the city as grown up around it, nothing much has changed. What I like about English Bay, the beach and the view is nice! Nice restaurants to dine and eat! Lots of selections.

A visit to Vancouver would not be complete without touring the world famous English Bay. During summer months arrive at least an hour prior to sunset and watch the sun disappear below the horizon (what a miraculous sight). Ok. It's not a Brazilian beach, but has a perfect atmosphere to watch the sunset that just happens around 8 PM during summer. Locals and tourists sit in the beach and watch a musician playing "summer songs"! Lovely!

Fun place to head after walking the iconic Stanley Park and Seawall. Great restaurants line the streets from burgers to ice cream.
