If you're in Vancouver head to English Bay to see some of the nicest sunsets on earth. The beach community is great here and the scenery is one to just sit back and enjoy. While you're there, take a walk around the Laughing Statues, it truly is a spot that will make you smile and be a kid for a... More

The beaches are really nothing special, but the water itself looks good. Worth a stop for a few pics as you walk along the Seawall.

My daughter lives a few minutes from here so we took advantage of it to walk the dog. There are places to eat nearby. The site is lovely in daylight and in the evening.

We walked here on our last day in Vancouver, it was beautiful, you can walk along the sea front, there are seats everywhere. We bought a lovely smoothie from a small van and sat watching, jet skis, canoes, rowers as well as big tankers leaving the harbour

Great expansive view to watch the sun set on the water and also over the city. Give yourself some time to park because MANY people gather to watch the sunset

Easy walk from city centre. Lovely beach. Plenty of places to sit and take in the view. Take a water taxi across to Granville Island.

Its beautiful, its easy to get there, great to meet new people. Must bring your own stuff, there are no lawn chairs. Great to sunbathe, go for a walk, play volley ball. Cool atmosphere and the best place in Vancouver to enjoy a gorgeous sunset.

This part of Vancouver is a must for visitors, a walk along the edge of the bay with the beach and pool area's is very nice with lots of facilities-cafes etcetera. It has a lovely friendly feel with people going about their day in many way's.

We got here 90 minutes before sunset. It was a spectacular setting for sunset and picture taking. It borders a residential area on one end and a busy bar/restaurant area on the other end. It was a wonderful place to discover for both the sunsets and pic opps.

As for the beach I didn't think it was anything special.... It offers a great view out to sea that is a car park for tankers. The sunsets are good and I watched them most nights from my hotel and once at the beach. Plenty going on of an evening and good places to eat but it can get a... More
