There is a paved bike path and one for walking. The views are wonderful and show Vancouver for the wonderful, clean city that it is. We walked 4 miles and would have loved to walk more.

This is the gathering place for all - restaurants, beach, Stanley Park, sunsets, bike rentals. Pretty little hot spot.

Did spend much time on English Bay....went there primarily to watch the sunset from the beach...and I was not disappointment. The sunset on the evening I visited was spectacular....the sky looked like it was on fire! It was absolutely breathtaking.

This is a great place, but not simply for the English! It also forms part of the sea wall which runs around Stanley park so you c an encounter it walking, running or cycling. There is always something happening in the water. Plus there are several beaches which are great on warm days. All this and just a few minutes... More

Walking around English Bay was one of the highlights of our trip to Vancouver. We especially liked the balancing stones that someone places along the waters edge. The kids really thought it was cool.

actually I live here and it always surprises me that tourist often don't find their way to English Bay. Go there for dinner and to watch the sunset. There are several great restaurants/pubs nearby and it's just the perfect place to watch the sun go down over the water and mountains.

English Bay is very popular for local and tourists. It could be very crowded because there are lot of great restaurants options for you as well. Great place to visit, you can watch sunset and hit restaurants/bars or vice verse. It's conveniently by Denman St where you can walk across to the Bayshore side of Vancouver downtown and there are...
