My friend and I went to Grouse Mountain specifically for the zip lines. It was the first attempt for both of us. We had a blast, start to finish. There were five in our group, all first-timers. Nobody got stuck, and we had the best guides possible. I can't say whether these are the biggest or the best, but they... more

At $38.00 per person it is best to plan on spending at least 3 hours there. There is the tram ride up the mountain, a lumber jack show, a bird of prey show, they have a bear habitat, another chair ride up to the top of the mountain, plus various hiking trails and places to eat. So you can spend... more

We went up Grouse on the skyride (I had been up to the top before on the Grouse Grind) and when we got to the top we booked zip lining. There are five zip lines in total - the first is the bunny line, the second short and steep, three was ok but 4 and 5 were disappointing. They were... more

The Lumberjack show on Grouse Mountain is hilarious (good actors, slightly coarse language) and real (the actors are award-winning log rollers and tree climbers). The skills they demonstrate are authentic and impressive. more

Lots of the reviews are complaining about the hefty price to ride to the top of the mountain. I'm sure that the cost of maintaining the upward lifts has got to be made somewhere, since most people do not actually take this tram. Take the road worth traveling and do the grouse grind. If this is too strenuous , take... more

As others have described the view is underwhelming, especially if you've visited Whistler. The hike will take you a few hours, even if you're 'in shape'. There are posted times of 27 minutes for doing this, but you'd almost have to spring up the hill - it's just not easy going in terms of trail condition. It's a nice group... more

Grouse Mountain is in the same category as the Capliano Suspension Bridge.....a total tourist rip off. I hate to say but their are much better FREE views of downtown Vancouver too. OK here is a nice alternative that might surprise a lot of people. Bypass Grouse and head to Cypress Mountain which is only a few more miles away. It... more

I think, that grouse mountain is not worth the money. You have a very nice view over Vancouver, that is true, but it is not worth the 50 bucks you pay to get on top. Two bears in a small fenced area, a lumberjack show and some birds are simply not enough for that amount of money. there's other places... more

Grouse Mountain is worth visiting for the great views over Vancouver city. The attractions at the top include birds of prey, a lumberjack show and an open chair lift, however the bears are definitely the best! Two grizzlies have been raised after being orphaned as cubs. They have an enclosure created as if it were their natural wild habitat. It... more

For Fathers Day we sent Hubs on a zip line tour on Grouse, which was a huge success. Our luck run out there though. Next we went to the Altitude Bistro upstairs in the chalet. It was so disappointing. I tried not to let it put a damper on our day. First of all, it's not at all family friendly,... more
