If you want to see grizzly bears and wolves (in humane conditions) then visit here. Otherwise there are only outdoor activities (skiing etc) to keep you entertained. There is a fee to get up the Mountain via the cable car (I get vertigo so that didn't help me) which seemed a lot - although if it goes to the upkeep... More

This is an expensive ride up a mountain $89.48 for two (with a $3 per persaon discount coupon) equatitns to £55.39. Alhough a good view (depending on the cloud cover) there isn't much to do, there is a grizzly bear reserve but not much else. However, for the very energetic ones ther are loads of trails to walk, but you... More

I traveled here in May 2012 when they are in the transition between winding up winter activities and getting ready for summer activities. Very messy, snow cover around ground was dirty, most food places closed and equipment (chair lifts, timber, machinery all over the place particularly around lumberjack area). I realise they don't have much time to get ready for... More

I did not mention the skying because (shame on me) I have never skied and that is sad considering I had such nice places to sky in Vancouver. However, I used to go to Grouse Mountain occasionally just to enjoy the breathtaking views of the City and beyond. A nice place to stop by on the way to the top... More

Grouse Mountain has something for everyone. It is quite pricey to ride up in the Gondola but worth it. You can make a day of it and the views are fab! We went up in the 'eye of the wind' the only wind turbine with a 360 viewing capsule. The younger ones did the zip wire - their advice pay... More

Hike up on the Grouse Grind if you are VERY fit and marvel at the views from the top...take the lift if you just want the view without the grind! More

There are so many things to do and see. The sigh of the city from the mountain is amazing. We went to the "eye of the wind" which is a fully functioning wind turbine with glass enclosed viewing deck. The views are stunning. We rode our first chair lift to the top. The staff are patient and truly made us... More

We did the 40 minute journey by public transit to Grouse Mountain from Bridgeport Station in Richmond on our first visit to Vancouver & it was well worth it. May is a transitional month from winter to summer so we didn't get to experience all the bells and whistles. Altitudes restaurant was a nice transition after the gondela ride. A... More

I had unbelievable weather. Clear blue sky and it was even hot with some snow still on the ground. The tram ride to the top is a little crowded but still fun all the same. They have a couple of bears to look at and a few places to eat. You can also zip line and of course ski or... More
