The first thing you notice when you step through the gates at Capilano is that it's like going back in time. There are people in historcal dress walking around everywhere! As 20-somethings we thought this was kitschy and kindof lame, but I suppose if you had kids they would really enjoy it. The view from the bridge is great. Being... more

The view from on the bridge was quite impressive. The tree top walk was very Peter Pan like, but still enjoyable. The entrance fee was rather high for the time you could spend there, and like everything in Vancouver, you had to pay to park too. Don't go hungry since the food prices were incredibly high. Overall I am glad... more

For my profile, Vancouver have way much more and better to offer! But, you will like it if you have a family or you are a bit older than me ;-) A lot of people told us to go, so we went. Crossing the suspension bridge it was fine, but after - it's a walk in the rain forest. You... more

The idea is simple: there's a bride and you have to cross it, how many times you want.. Easy concept, isn't it? The interesting part is that the brige is suspended and crossing it may be exciting. Needless to say, this attraction works!!! Awfully crawded of people that look forward to crossing the bridge. If the altitude scares you, then... more

We had a great day playing tourist today! Our group was 3 adults and 6 kids and every thing that Capilano Suspension bridge and Park had to offer was a blast. This is such a beautiful setting and the attractions are so well thought out. I loved they displays, the staff, the guided Eco walk, the children's dress up and... more

I hardly would classify it as scary. It seemed very safe and was scenic as well. more

we've been here about 3 times and each time we've marveled about the engineering that has gone into this bridge. Of course it's pricy, but it's a tourist area, but the cost to maintain it and the park and the new part of the tree top look outs isn't cheap. This is an educational trip for tourists, The history of... more

we had a nice day, and the paths/walkways were interesting, but I honestly feel that it is overpriced. Next time we will check out Lynn Canyon. more

I didn't find the bridge that scary, but then I'm not afraid of heights. My husband looked at the photos and said "No Way" so I went alone. To get there from the city, I took the SeaBus, ferry, and then a bus right to the park. I was prepared for the price because I looked it up online before... more

While statistically this bridge ranks high up in length of suspension bridges, the price is outrageous, and the site is extremely touristy. My family only checked it out since we had free admission. A much better free alternative is the Lynn Canyon suspension bridge. It is in a setting with more natural beauty, and parking is also free. more
