I love this place! This is like "a kid in a candy shop" for me! I can't get enough of this place! They sometimes will held a book sale in the lowest level... I just love libraries! It's full of knowledge just waiting for everyone to take!

This place is definitely a place I would study. It is gorgeous and the atmosphere is unlike anything I've ever seen. It is on the edge of Gas town and totally worth making the trip to see. Don't miss this!

I wanted to see this awesome building for awhile now and on a visit to vancouver as we turned a corner there it was, a fantastic way too first view a grand building such as this. There are cafes and shops downstairs so you could stay as long as you like. I`m so glad I turned that corner.

I go there to borrow books/DVD's/CD's and sometimes I like to go up to the top floors to see what exhibits there are there.

What an awesome library. Building is beautifully designed and built. Great angles for photog's. A nice relaxing break, a quick read or just a stroll it is great place to visit.

Even if you don't have a Vancouver library card, you should visit the building, shaped like the Coliseum, and walk through the interior courtyard/road, with cafes and shops. The Library's own gift shop has some great little items, and there's a huge public reading room that anyone can use.

Our hotel was a block away from this very interesting looking building in the shape of the Roman Coliseum. We did not get a chance to go inside but you could see the stacks of books through the windows.

This reminded me a little of the Colosseum in Rome. We just walked through it quickly and took a couple of pictures but it was a great place to see. There were several small cafes inside and some shops but I do not know how well they were priced.

Well, I guess most tourists don't factor book reading time into their daily sightseeing activities, but there is free Internet access here, if someone needs this. The building itself, however, has been a big draw since it opened in 1995. It features modern architecture that resembles the Roman Colosseum, an unusual sight in a neighborhood of mostly traditional buildings. The... More
