We went on 4/9 and unfortunately picked a day when we didn't manage to see any whales. That really is the only negative thing I can say about the day. The weather was lovely which helped but otherwise the whole experience was positive. Comfortable suits provided for when it did get a bit chilly, hugely enthusiastic guide (Katherine) and captain.... From setting off to getting ashore the whole experience was excellent and glad I did it. Following a whale pod was great experience not to be missed.

Flat water, great boat, 38 orcas for over an hour - too many photos, great memories. Ashley the guide was entertaining and informative, and the whole day was fabulous

I booked with Wild Whales Vancouver after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor and was delighted with the boat tour out to see the orcas. My Mum and I turned up at Wild Whales where we were kitted out in our survival suits and met the naturalist for our trip. We boarded the boat with a nice group of people... More

So happy I got to be so close to whales! I love the respect this company has for the animals, and appreciate their dedication to keeping the experience natural. Also saw harbor seals, stellar sea lions, and harbor porpoises! Spent around 6 hours on the water, bring a lunch! Only complaint was the faulty mic, our naturalist did the best... More

We went out with Wild Whales on September 11, 2014. We got to see a pod of orcas, harbor seals, a sea lion and had a wonderful trip. Katherine, our guide, was wonderful, and our captain did a great job of getting us alongside the whales and also showing us some of the beautiful islands in the area. We would... More

After a rather disappointig whale watching trip in Victoria (2 hours about 10 boats chasing two humpbacks) this was something pleasingly different. Not only do they respect the animals, they was also offer lots of info about them and their habitat. We had a great naturalist on board with us, she was friendly, funny and gave us so many interesting... More

We were very lucky to see around 15 orcas, we even saw a hunt & celebratory 'dance' after. We also got to see harbour purpoises, seals and sea lions. It was a great day out with lots of information provided by our guide. I would definitely recommend this trip :)

Saw a lot of whales! Staff very knowledgeable and helpful. I was worried when told we had to wear a survival suit but I need not have. You need to take your own lunch as you are out for hours, they do warn you.
