Of course there is a chance that you will not see whales, and although that is not the fault of the tour operator, it makes for a long day when you don't see whales. We were out there for over 5 hours and did not see any whales. We saw some otters, which was cool. We were originally booked in... More

Thanks for your review. Sorry you didn't find the experience as good as we would of hoped for you. Like you said, it's hard to predict wildlife and occasionally we are unable to spot whales, although our success rate is around 90%. We always try to ensure that, whales or not, we deliver a educational and entertaining tour. We really... More

We have been thinking a lot before we went.... because of the rate... but I would have regretted not to do it... We were lucky to see a few orca, sea lions and seals. It is definitely something to do. Explanations given by our guide were welcome and very good, the only regret we had was about the mic, we... More

Thanks for the review. It is always a battle with electronics, salt water and engine noise but I'm glad to hear the naturalist was still able to answer your questions. We have installed new speakers and microphones on our vessels which seem to be helping a lot. Thanks again! More

I had an amazing day out on the water with Wild Whales! Definitely got my money's worth as we were out on the water for about 7 hours that day. We went all the way down to Victoria where we were able to see 7 whales including their children, and then just when I thought that the best part was... More

What a great trip, well worth the money. We saw three different orca pods ( between 30 or 40 sightings ) in the San Juan area and enjoyed it throughly. Captain Gary and Ashley Keegan were so knowledgeable and professional in every way. I would highly recommend this as a must see when in Vancouver.

Thanks so much Vicky! Glad you had such a good time. It's always an unforgettable experience to see one Orca but when you get to see 30 or 40 of them, its indescribable. Ashley and I are very thankful you mentioned us in your review. Hope to see you again. More

I went out on the closed boat with Kathryn and Dennis on October 12. What an experience! The boat was filled with a variety of people: families with children, seniors, young couples. It was smooth sailing in the morning when we set out looking for whales. We saw a bald eagle after about the first 30 minutes, spent some time... More

Thanks for the amazing review Carolyn. Kathryn will be thrilled to read this. She is one of our newer naturalists so it is good to get such positive feedback from a passenger. 2013 was a unique season, we saw WAY more Humpback Whales than usual. We are hoping that continues into our 2014 season. The sea lions are back again... More

Totally worth all the time and money you'll spend! On the first day we went out on the open boat. We spent half a day at sea, even sailed to the American waters but no whales at all. It was a good trip anyway, as we got really close to harbour seals, sea lions and even spotted one porpoise and... More

Thanks so much Luca! I'm so glad you got to come out on a second tour with us and we could find whales for you. There is nothing quite like seeing Killer Whales in the wild. We are so fortunate that we get to do this for a job and are thrilled we got to share that with you. We... More

It was a great day where we spotted one whale, a number of porpoises and seals. Natalie was fantastic and hugely knowledgeable.

Wow, what an experience. We were exceptionally lucky on our tour with Wild Whales, seeing two pods (between 50 and 80 whales) only 40 minutes or so out of Vancouver Harbour. We chose Wild Whales as they are based on Granville Island, which is a central and easy to reach location. The guide on the boat was very knowledgeable, delighted... More

We went out on a whale watch with Wild Whales in Vancouver last week. A fantastic experience. We saw two hump backs which was great. Definitely worth it if you're in Vancouver. The boat trip itself was really good as they take you round the islands over the Georgia Street. Great view of Mount Baker too on our trip.

Thanks a lot! This year has been incredible for Humpback whale sightings. I've seen more this year alone than the past 5 years combined. The activity levels have been incredible as well. Glad you got to see them Thanks again. More

I was on the September 3rd trip with Natalie and Captain Dave and it was unbelievable! Natalie taught us so much without making it feel like we were in school. She spent a lot of time talking with us individually and we could tell she was just as excited as the rest of us to see the whales. My favourite... More

Superpod days are always incredible!! There is nothing quite like seeing over 80 killer whales and getting to hear them communicating with each other. Glad to hear you were fortunate enough to experience that, it's not something you ever forget. Thanks for the review. More
