We went out in late August with Roman, our driver and Susie the marine ecologist. She provided a running commentary on Vancouver, birdlife, and extensive information about the transient and resident Orcas, names, family trees, articles and so on. It was excellent. Our trip was as calm as they come which was brilliant, and hot so though we had the... More

Can't speak highly enough of this trip. The whole operation is well organised. We were lucky to have Cristal as our guide who was very knowledgeable about the marine life that we were fortunate to see. Seeing Orcas in the wild was incredible! Would recommend this frip to anyone visiting Vancouver.

We went on a 6 hour whale watching trip with Wild Whales Vancouver in early August and to sum it up it was just a wonderful experience that was worth the time and money and was everything we imagined it to be! There are many whale watching companies in and around Vancouver who all offer they're own somewhat unique trips... More

We had the best time with Captain Dennis and tour guide and future marine expert Ahsley Keegan when we saw at least 17 killer whales from two pods playing together. It was an experience to be never forgotten. The experience is a must if you travel to Vancouver.

We went out in the middle of August with Wild Whales and had a really great experience! We arrived first thing in the morning at the recommended time of 9:15 am - we were one of the first groups there however - and we did not end up departing until a good hour later while everyone else made their way... We were heading out to see one of the pods of Orcas when our pilot and guide found out from spotters that there was a different location where there was a mother with her 3 children. And 1 of them was a baby. So we spent a little extra time getting there but it was worth it. It was one... More

We went out July 24th. The weather had been very bad the day before, so we came armed with jackets and other gear to keep us warm- we did not need these so left them in the office. We picked up a packed lunch and bottled water at Granville market before heading over to the office to get kitted out... More

Thanks so much for the awesome review and for being so understanding. We always do everything we can to find wildlife, especially Orcas, for our passengers to observe. As you know, sometimes there is nothing we can do and they just aren't around. We have had a very high success rate this season, over 95%!! We would love to see... More

Went out on 13th August in the rain so was glad of the suits provided. Even though weather could have been better the trip was very enjoyable due to knowledgeable guide. She showed genuine enthusiasm and could tell us all about the orcas we saw. Would definitely recommend

Fabulous day with very professional set up. Well organised and Ashley our guide for the duration of the trip was fun, informative and VERY enthusiastic (thank you Ashley). Advised to buy lunch and drink at the market before leaving although water was available on the boat. Didn't get many photos too interested in just watching the whales free in the... More

Thanks Janet! What an excellent review! Ashley is one of our senior naturalists and is always very popular with our guests. We are happy that your enjoyed the trip and Ashley's interpreting. We always encourage our passengers to take some time away from taking pictures and just enjoy the beautiful sights. Thanks again for the wonderful review! More

My husband and I went on the morning cruise (made reservations a week ahead, which was good - cuz they had filled 2 boats that morning). It was a beautiful, clear day - perfect for a boat ride. Having read different reviews on TA, we had packed out winter coats for the trip but couldn't imagine using them in August!... More

Thanks so much for taking the time to write a review! It gets cold out on the water even in the summertime. People are always surprised when we give them their anti-exposure suits but are always happy they have them once they are out there. Thanks again! More
