The highlight probably of a fantastic trip to Seattle, Vancouver and Rockies. Worth every cent to get so close to the Killer Whales as they attacked (twice) and a pair of magnificent humpbacks. Easy to find on Geanville Island a perfect starting point to get out on the water. Seeing the city, nesting Bald Eagle, Harbour seals and CA. Sea... More

We booked a last minute whale watching excursion last weekend and are so glad we did! We were in Vancouver for the weekend and emailed Wild Whales on Friday night in the hopes of getting on a Sunday excursion. While we had hoped to get on the open-air boat, Wild Whales called us on Saturday morning and said they could... More

My husband and I were in Vancouver recently after doing a trip from Calgary over the Rockies via the Rocky a mountaineer train. We had already booked this trip before we left home to be guaranteed a place on the boat. We were out for five & a half hours in total. Unfortunately, we only saw two hump back whales,... More

I organized a two-boat charter for a group from Denver, Colorado. We were impressed that each boat had a naturalist and experienced pilot. The naturalist taught us an incredible amount about whales. Even though spotting whales is not guaranteed, we were lucky enough to be amount several "pods" and saw at least 30 whales. Everyone was ecstatic! The boats were... More

Visited Vancouver for my birthday so adding a whale watching trip seemed a must. I cannot adequately express how amazing the tour was! Each boat only goes out once a day so you are assured of seeing some beautiful sights. We saw one of the Transient pods, at least 5 adult females and a baby. They swam within touching distance... I try to get out with Wild Whales at least once a year, and this time was excellent as always. Kathryn the naturalist was very well spoken and passionate about the animals and environment, and Captain Roman was excellent at maneuvering the boat so everyone could see the animals. The highlight of the day was an encounter with J pod,... More

Our guide Joanne was so knowledgeable, she's a marine biologist student so she spoke right from her head and could answer any questions we had with great depth. You can tell the ocean is her passion and she makes you excited about it too. The tour itself was wonderful, the whales were majestic and beautiful to watch in the wild.... More

The trip on May 17, 2015 was very cool. We saw many whales, eagle, seals, and sea lions. I would have been happy after the first humpback whale sighting. We got a 7 hour trip that continued to amaze even though the tour had more than fulfilled the minimum. We kept getting more, and more. This was a cool trip.... More
