The trip is absolutely amazing. We did have perfect weather and calm seas so made all the difference. The crew were excellent with a lot of good facts and knowledge. The boat only holds about 20 people, so it can't get too big. After leaving the harbour we head out which took about 45 minutes but stopped half way to... More

Living in the area, I had no idea what was in my backyard. Amazing experience, would definitely do it again. Wild whales is one of the best whale watching tours out there.

This was my second trip with wild whales , the first was about 6 years back ! I love using them because they are convenient to downtown and their staff is friendly and knowledgeable !! I have had sightings both times , the first was amazing as 3 pods came together and they were teaching the babies to jump out... More

We had a truly fantastic day in August, our family age range was 25 - 77 years and everyone had the best day. We saw a pod of 35 Orca whales, amazing......so close to the boat but a respectful distance was kept. The Naturalist on the trip was so interesting and obviously loved what she did. The Captain handled the... More

We had an excellent whale watching experience with Wild Whales. The naturalist and captain of the boat were both obviously very dedicated to their job, and love the wildlife. The trip out to find the whales was almost 2 hours, but the time flew. The scenery was beautiful and our naturalist spent the trip explaining all about the sights and... More

We were so glad that we got to experience this! The weather could have been better but it was a wonderful day. We saw a pod of 26 orca whales, traveled and found a humpback whale, and saw several sea lions. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. It is a long day, so come prepared. So thankful that we... More

WOW! Sounds like your day was full of wildlife! This time of year is one of our favourites because Humpback whales are hanging around a little more frequently so it makes for great trips. Thanks for taking the time to write such a good review. More

When we set out the weather was damp and miserable, as we ventured further from Vancouver the day improved to bright sunshine( a prequel to the day we had in store). We saw so many Orcas it was truly amazing, the driver of the boat was keeping a respectable distance from the whales, but they would come up close to... More

Thank you so much! It is a huge compliment that we were the highlight of your 5 week trip. We are so glad you had such a good day out there. Thanks for mentioning that the captain was keeping a respectful distance. We want to view the animals without influencing their natural behaviour. Thanks again! More

We had a great trip to Vancouver in all but the whale watching had to be the best! Our guide Katherine and Captain Rodrigo were amazing! The weather was warm, waters were calm and we saw two families of Orcas! Hats off to Wild Whales, you guys are knowledgeable, fantastic hosts and made our day so enjoyable!

We had an fabulous day. The weather was nice the water really calm and we managed to catch a whale pod only after an hour and follow them for a while. It was sooo beautiful and peaceful. Our guide Ashley was so knowledgeable we learned a lot about the whale and the marine life. We were really lucky.. We had... More

We went on 4/9 and unfortunately picked a day when we didn't manage to see any whales. That really is the only negative thing I can say about the day. The weather was lovely which helped but otherwise the whole experience was positive. Comfortable suits provided for when it did get a bit chilly, hugely enthusiastic guide (Katherine) and captain.... Thank you so much for writing such a lovely review especially on a no whale day. We try to make each experience a great one regardless if whales are around or not. Our captains know a lot of cool wildlife spots and there is plenty to see out here so we are really happy you appreciated that. We really look... More
