The gardens are naturally beautiful and showcase stunningly beautiful thought-provoking art installments. Darwin's Café has terrific lunch options and make a fabulous latte!

We were 3 adults, 2 kids, and a dog and the house had everything we needed. It had ample space for everyone, great kitchen well equipped, lovely wood burning stove in the living room (and ample supply of wood outside in the woodshed, and even spare wellies in the closet. We loved the quirky decorations and the massive dining room... More

Expect a true botanical garden and you’ll be disappointed, but if you’re searching for a small, secluded, quirky park to potter about in for a couple of hours, you’ll probably enjoy Tofino’s Botanical Gardens. Granted you need to pay to get in and at $10 per adult, it isn’t cheap, but then this is a charitable foundation and the entrance... More

Exploring these gardens make you feel like Indiana Jones, looking for the lost temple. It's not a typical botanical Garden, but it's rather a trimmed and labelled piece of rain forest, so don't expect rose bushes and green houses, but it's still unique due to the rain forest and landscape. Hidden treats as the mossy wooden benches, the lagoon and... More

Not a lot there but walks into the woods with the occasional plant to look at. It looks like a place under development. There is a nice coffee shop though where you can sit outside.

We visited here when it poured and poured and poured with rain one day. If you like looking at nature its really interesting. My kids were fascinated with the beach as beaches really are, including the midges. Useful coffee shop, not too over the top on souvenirs and peaceful. Something for all ages on this vivt. the staff are very... More

Visited this site several years ago, and felt that it was very much a work in progress, so was curious to see what had transpired in the meantime. Well, garden-wise, not much. Looks like most of the effort has been on the accommodations end of thing, with the "Eco-Lodge" and café showing signs of most effort expended. The $10 per... More

Had the pleasure to attend a wedding reception here and it was amazing. The staff are friendly and the grounds are beautiful. If you're looking for a nice place to relax this is the place to be. For those interested in a wedding reception here I would recommend it for anyone. They had set up a bar at the entrance... More

When you want a break from beaches this is a lovely spot to visit. Not only do you learn about the plants of the rain forest, but the pathways hide a wide assortment of works of art. There is a frog pond, an old salmon troller, bird watching and quiet places to sit and relax. And Darwin's restaurant next door... More
