This was a trail and beach we would have overlooked but for the recommendations of a local resident. We did not spend as much time taking in the ocean views and the architecture of the houses perched over the Sound as we would have wanted (we had already walked or hiked over 20 kms that day). Next Spring we will... More

This secluded beach is a treasure. The walk through the rain forest to access it puts yuu in a quiet place.

The area has some awesome trail/walks. This one was 2.5k each way to the beach. We saw eagles, and many other forms of life throughout. It's an easy walk, even with dogs -- I recommend it.

Even in the rain, this trail is fantastic. Lots of tree cover and sweeping views of the water. You might even be able to spot the occasional migrating grey whale if you're lucky!

So many ways to arrive at this small but interesting beach. Try the forest walk from the community centre, or the longer walk from Industrial Way, or for those with less energy, the short walk from the other side. Lots to see and do when you get there, including the boardwalk, rope swing, sunset rock, sand to draw in, waves... More

Don't miss the Tonquin Trail when you're next in Tofino. Great views of the ocean from several vantage spots along the trail as well as quiet trails through the forest. Easy undulating walk.

What a lovely find this was while we were in Tofino last weekend. Well maintained trails through the woods and down to a couple of beaches made for a very pleasant stroll and place for a picnic.

Really enjoyed exploring the beaches, coves & trails but what a special treat to happen upon the Weeping Cedar Woman. What a beautiful piece of art......we hope to find it more prominently exhibited in the near future,

A beach and trail worth seeking out. Hidden away from the large expansive beaches of the area this is a small beach. The trail has been well established and maintained. There are a series of stairs down to the beach so this isn't for anyone with mobility issues.
