You can take the easy stairs to the beach, where you can gaze at the gentle waves crashing in. During low tide, an inviting passage presents itself so you can make your way to a small island where you may find bald eagles soaring above. Schooners Cove is nothing less than invigorating and rejuvinating. Truly a picturesque adventure. « less

We were recommended to visit Schooner cove by the owner of TOF bicycle where we rented our bike cruisers for a few days. We rode our bike 15 km to get the the cove but it was well worth it! You start out by doing the tree trail wich is absolutely beautiful! The trail is about 2 km ans it... More

My brother and I headed over to Schooner's after a long day on the water. It had been recommended by a number of people for, well you guessed it Fish! It is expensive but well worth it, the service was great and so was the food. We had two of their seafood platters, one was encrusted halibut with scallop and... More

This was a short but fun hike across a boardwalk, many steps and lots of bridges to schooner cove. It takes a bit of effort (more so than at other sites in the park where the carpark is right next to the beach) but we definitely felt that it was worth it. You need to pay to park here with... More

A one kilometre hike into beautiful Schooner Cove along a wooden boardwalk. Very pleasant walking unless you are challenged with steps up & down as there are a total of 240 steps more or less each way as the boardwalk follows the contours of the terrain. Don't forget your Park's pass as it is required for any stops into Pacific... More

This is a long beach, with pretty colored water and great for taking photos at. The trail is easy to walk on and not too long.

About a 1-km hike from the parking lot to the beach, has been completely boardwalked, so easy going but lots of stairs. Beach is absolutely beautiful, with cool islands you can hike out to in low tide.

We took Schooner Trail up to Schooner Cove and not only was the trail full of really cool twisty "nurse trees" but Schooner Cove was beautiful. I got to see my first starfish here and the tidal pools and crevices in the rock were very cool! Great views!

This is a trail for people that don't mind stairs, the only way to get down to the beach. The boardwalk and stairs are well maintained and allow a nice walk through the forest. The Cove is stunning - there was a slight mist over the water giving the feel of seeing into the past - the tide was out... More

The parking lot to Schooner's Cove fills up quickly but you will want to be one of those lucky cars. The walk to the quiet beach is on a boardwalk with stairs up and down...it is a hike. However I have severe arthritis and mobility issues but I could do it, just slow and steady. The walk is worth it... More
