Love to visit this art gallery. Peaceful place, artwork displayed by Roy Henry Vickers. This is fabulous west coast art! He had several new art pictures for 2014. Do love his work and have some of his pics at home. Also has some great coffee table books available for purchase.

This gallery and the works of Roy Henry Vickers exude the mystery and religious quality of the deep forest and waters of the West Coast of British Columbia. Vickers is an outstanding artist and deals with First Nation's themes in a sensitive, enlightening way. The Vickers experience begins with the building that incorporates the West Coast First Nations' theme in... More

The prints of Canadian artist Roy Henry Vickers are displayed in this artist-owned gallery designed as a traditional north west coast log house. His work is jaw-droppingly beautiful using "clean lines, vivid colours and natural themes drawn from the rugged beauty of BC's west coast." Luckily you can buy cards of his prints for framing also, which I did. Everyone... More

We discovered this art gallery as we were walking around the quaint little town of Tofino. Right from our first step in the door we knew we had discovered a gem. After looking closely we found the hidden features within the images. There is seating inside so you can take your time viewing the works of art. In the rear... More

The building stands out on the main street of Tofino and is built in the manor of a First Nations meeting house. The inside is peaceful and filled with the artist's stunning works. A bit our of our price range, but a joy to look at.

A great gallery...a must visit. The gallery itself is very serene and reflective. Vickers works come in all sizes...I just wish I had more wall space as some of his larger pieces are simply stunning. I did buy two prints of his larger pieces and had them framed. They are of the snow scenes "Going to the Potlach". One of... More

It has been some time (10+) years since we were here last to this gallery. Great place to mellow out and sit and look at the art work. Was pleased to find out that the art we bought last time has gone up in value, so we bought another one this time to remember our trip.

It was a beautiful sunny day when we visited the Roy Vickers gallery in Tofino. We had just had lunch at The Sea Shanty around the corner and had been treated to the sight of a baby eagle sitting atop a post just outside. It was an omen because when we got to the gallery, Roy was there signing autographs.... More

I visit this gallery every time I come to Tofino, Not only is Roy Henry Vickers' art beautifully displayed, but the atmosphere is one of peace and reverence to the first nations culture. Many pieces have a story written by the artist, about the painting, and how it came to be. You really get an insight into what inspired him... More
