Our first visit to the area and it didn't disappoint. Wide sandy beaches with room to roam and rocky secluded sun traps. The water is cold (remember you are 49° north) but beautifully refreshing. Wildlife is best seen on organised trips. The local guides have a fantastic knowledge and all the companies collaborate on sightings to ensure the best experience... More

We went to many different sites within the Pacific Rim National Park and highly recommend it to nature lovers! There is so much beauty in this park and so much to see! My husband and I wanted a relaxing vacation away from hustle and bustle of city life and that's exactly what we got during our stay. Excellent well marked... More

The Rainforest Trail at the Pacific Rim National Park was an easy walk on a boardwalk. The cost to park was about $7.80 for a single person.

Anytime you can pull off the highway and walk through beautiful old growth forest will never be time wasted. Simple, short walks on either side of the highway will make your day so much better.

A walk through the Rain Forest is the most amazing experience you will have. You will think that you have left British Columbia and now in a far off land.

First, plan to spend one hour in Tofino, see the touristy town and then leave. Do not stay here, stay in sleepy Uclulet 40 kms down the coast. Plan your hiking in the park to include as many hikes as you can, especially ones leading down staircases to the secluded beaches. The tidal pools (if the tide is out) are... More

This was our first road-trip to Vancouver Island and we spend two full days exploring Pacific Rim National Park. We stayed two nights at the Green Point Campground. Although it rained on and off all day we did see a lot of wild life. There the first things that struck us was the size and varieties of the banana slugs.... More

Not much has changed since my last visit - great!. The great grey beach, with the rolling waves... A lot more surfers though. Disappointment, no great tidal pools to explore.

Easy to locate all the trails and the Information Centres are great, especially the Kwisitis Cultural Centre - it's brilliant. We had fabulous sunny days & beautiful sunsets
