We decided to go on this trip but were resigned to not seeing any whales . Were we in for a surprise, the boat was terrific, the crew very friendly and we saw grey whales, sea otters and lots of birds to make the trip memorable. To cap it all, one of the crew members (sorry, forgot her name, how... More

Even though I was clear on the phone that i had never kayaked before they said it would not be a problem. Once entering the water in the kayak i was given aproximately 30 seconds to get the hang of it before being told i was not keeping up to the more experienced kayakers. They hooked a tow rope up... My sincerest apologies for the experience you had on your recent paddling trip with us. I would like to state that beginners make up over 80% of the people we take on the water and we have been running tours safely out of Jamie for both beginner paddlers and families with young children for over a decade. It is a... More

Had a fantastic time with Jamies tours in the Summer. We went on the whaling trip and saw so much wildlife. We saw hump back whales and grey whales. the boats go as close as possible but are always very careful about the whales safety. There is a running commentary from the captain giving local information as well as information... More

We were booked onto the hot water springs tour which was unfortunately cancelled due to high winds. The staff could not have been more helpful in trying to arrange an alternative means of travel for us, offering to phone the air operators for us. We decided instead to book onto a Bear viewing tour as we had been let down... More

Jamie's was a great tour operator to go with - they had hot chocolate on the go for those cold pacific winds, and knew where to go to see the best whales breaching, all while maintaining the appropriate distance. I recommend them if youre in Tofino. More

Calm water, beautiful weather and saw many animals on the bear watching tour. We saw bears, eagles, harbor seals, and wolves. Our guide Alfred shared information with us, but spoke sparingly. Very professional. We absolutely loved this trip! Highly recommend! More

We were in Tofino over Canadian Thanksgiving and went whale watching on a rainy Saturday on their boat the Levanthian. We chose this boat as you could sit inside plus, out of the rain it was equipped with a washroom. October is really at the end of the whale watching season, the Orca's and Humpbacks had already gone south but... More

Early start but well worth it. 4 of us on the zodiac boat plus the skipper. We found a bear and it was so peaceful you could hear each stone the bear turned over.We then found a mother and 2 large cubs. All staff delightful and coffee at the end back in the office. More

When we first got to Jamie's and met the rest of the group were were going on a 2.5hr kayaking trip, we were hesitant because there were young children in the group, and we thought the trip would go much slower than we would like. However, the guide did such a good job of keeping the group together, and when... More

We went to three different activities: whale watching, bear observations and trip to hot spring. All these activities have been memorable, the staff is very serious and well prepared, the boats are safe and maintenance is taken care of. By boat it is very cold, but they give you the suits. We saw at least 10 whales up close. A... More
