Description: Jamie's is the West Coast's Original Whale & Wildlife Adventure Centre...
Jamie's is the West Coast's Original Whale & Wildlife Adventure Centre, navigating the waters of Clayoquot and Barkley Sound since 1982. We are thrilled to be celebrating over 30 years on the water! We have the largest fleet in the area, offering whale watching & bear watching on larger covered cruisers or zodiacs! Join our experienced and knowledgeable crew as we help you discover this beautiful destination. We also offer tours to Hot Springs Cove (by boat or seaplane), kayaking, water taxi service to Meares Island, scenic flights, and much more. Visit us at our Tofino and Ucluelet locations, where we have gift shops and lots of FREE parking (including RV parking in Tofino). Please note that all Jamie's tours are subject to a $3 research fee, which goes directly to benefit local, non-profit groups involved with wildlife research, rescue and education. We also have complimentary kennels for your dogs while you're out exploring on one of our tours!

When entering the station there is all kinds of staff to greet you and help you decide which of their tours to take! Wow. They were all so pleasant and helpful! Brings a new meaning to service to customers! We took the tour to the hot springs! Delightful boat ride and stopped to see sea lions on their rock! Wow!... More

Weather will be essential for the success of this outing, so be sure to check the forecast! The day we went - April 5 - was perfect: sunny, little wind and warm. We did wear layers and hats though, but felt very comfortable. We saw many sea lions and 2 whale tails. To me seeing a tail briefly in the... More

We really enjoyed the zodiac ride and saw a lot of grey whales & seals. Both the staff at the Ucluelet and Tofino stations were very welcoming and helpful. Great info shared by the guide. I absolutely recommend that company.

Had a fantastic 2.5 hours bear watching and saw 3 bears, 5 bald eagles, lots of harbour seals and a marten. Well worth the money to have such a great experience.

Excellent sail!!! Totally worth it! We had a feeling seeing the whales is almost guaranteed (at this time of year). The trip was very organized and the captain & the 2 crew were very professional/experienced. They also provide blankets for the wind and the splashes. The grey whales were peaceful while we were sailing along with them (about 200 meters).... More

if you are going to Tofino, you really should get out on the water. The whale watching can be pretty bumpy so save it for a CALM day (earlier is usually calmer) or choose the hot springs experience where you can still often see a whale. The bear viewing trip leaves early but is calm the whole time. the drivers... More

Prior to boarding the vessel we purchased some snacks, upon their suggestion. Everything is better with snacks anyways! The tour itself was very well done. Organized, friendly knowledgable staff. Lots of information as we went along. Very exciting we did see Grey Whales. They do guarantee sightings! We went to an area where there was tons of Sea Lions. The... More

After reading several reviews, we opted to go with Jamie's for our sightseeing adventures. I was hoping to do a bear watching tour and whale watching but we had to pick just one this time around due to our tight schedule and the weather conditions. We booked the whale watching tour on the big boat (65') in Tofino. I don't... More

We booked the 8am slot and had the boat to ourselves - Chris the skipper was great and kept us informed on the way up. The springs were amazing and the walk up to them through the rainforest will be remembered by our kids for the slippy Boardwalk - walk don't run... The springs themselves are worth the trip and...
