Description: Jamie's is the West Coast's Original Whale & Wildlife Adventure Centre...
Jamie's is the West Coast's Original Whale & Wildlife Adventure Centre, navigating the waters of Clayoquot and Barkley Sound since 1982. We are thrilled to be celebrating over 30 years on the water! We have the largest fleet in the area, offering whale watching & bear watching on larger covered cruisers or zodiacs! Join our experienced and knowledgeable crew as we help you discover this beautiful destination. We also offer tours to Hot Springs Cove (by boat or seaplane), kayaking, water taxi service to Meares Island, scenic flights, and much more. Visit us at our Tofino and Ucluelet locations, where we have gift shops and lots of FREE parking (including RV parking in Tofino). Please note that all Jamie's tours are subject to a $3 research fee, which goes directly to benefit local, non-profit groups involved with wildlife research, rescue and education. We also have complimentary kennels for your dogs while you're out exploring on one of our tours!

We had an amazing time on the Hot Springs Cove tour! We took the Zodiac both ways. I was a little nervous, but our guide Krysta was extremely proficient at handling the huge swells on the ocean that day. We were fortunate enough to see grey whales, porpoises, seals, sea lions on both the way to and from the Hot... More

Having had a fabulous experience on Jamie's whale watching tour we were enormously disappointed with the bear watching tour. Whilst the staff were very friendly and informative they simply negated to rotate the boat upon spotting a bear. One side of the boat had the opportunity to observe the bears, take photographs etc for 20 minutes while the other side... More

We did a tour to hot springs cove and took the sea-to-sky option. The short flight back from the hot springs was the highlight of the whole tour. It was absolutely amazing to see the views from up there. I didn't want the flight to end!

We went whalewatching in a Zodiac, really enjoyed the trip. Our lady-captain was very enthusiastic, she explained a lot, gave us a very safe feeling and found a lot of wildlife. Not only two humpback whales, but also seals, sealions and an eagle. Thank you so much for this great experience!

Did both the whale and bear trips. The bear trip was much better - nice flat water, a comfy boat, plenty of bears to see including a large male and mothers with its cubs. They didn't get as close to the bears as other companies which were practically on top of them (Remote Voyages springs to mind) which was a... More

We received a very good service from Jamie's Whaling Station during our visit to the Tofino Hot Spring. We took a flight to get there (it was only us in the plane, which was super cool!) and then we took a boat back to Tofino. The captain stopped en-route to show us some whales and sea lions. Definitely five stars... More

Beautiful flight to the Hotsprings. Not too many people so we could enjoy the hot water. Boattrip back on 2x225 Hp Zodiac was excellent. Captain Ben took the time to show us two grey whales and a seaotter chilling on his back in the water. Very funny to watch. Although waves were there, the excellent steering of Ben made it... More

Went as a party of 4 on the boat Devil Fish, brilliantly skippered by Krista. We were one of the first boats out this morning and at the 1st beach we saw a mum with 3 cubs, we watched them forage along the shore for more than half an hour, Krista had an impressive knowledge of bears and the other... We took the 8 oclock to the hotsprings this morning (july 25) and we had a really great time. Besides bringing us to the amazing hotsprings, our guide (the name i forgot, but pretty sure starts with a M) wanted to make sure that we would see some whales as well! and we did! The 12 years of work at... More

Excellent!! On our way to and from hotsprings cove we saw all sorts of wildlife. Our guide was enthusiastic and pointed out puffins, otters and we were lucky enough to get the chance to watch some whales for a while. The hotsprings are lovely and very natural. The boardwalk to and from the springswas very pretty as well, meandering through... More
