We went out on a slightly overcast day at lunchtime, on a Zodiac with Eugene. It was brilliant!! Our 9 year old loved every minute! She enjoyed the fast boat, the whales, the wind and spray - it was all great. Eugene was very knowledgable about the area, wildlife and made a real effort to ensure we had fun. The... More

Family of 4 cost £256.00. August 2014. Saw otters & seals on 3 hour trip. No whale's or orca's, guide quietly said have not seen orca's in months. Perhaps we were unlucky, however strong suspicion is not the case. Reeked of over selling by Jamie. Sure they give a free trip next time on standby, due to 'bad luck'. ...long... More

My husband and I go to Tofino annually for the last three years and we have NO intention of ending this pattern. New to our adventures however, was to try whale watching in Tofino. We went out of Victoria 3 years ago and had a great time watching orchas so we wanted to try it in Tofino. I have severe... More

After having an afternoon whale watching trip cancelled on us by another local company in Tofino, we were referred to Jamie's, which we are very thankful for! We brought our 8 week old son on the 46 passenger covered boat, and had an amazing time! We got to see a male orca who almost seemed to be playing with the... More

Jamie's is an amazing deal compared to a few other companies and on top of the price they offered a discount for the hostel we were staying with. The staff was great and only enhanced our experience - our guide, Eugene, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We ended up seeing a great deal of wildlife, including a grey whale, sea... More

We had made our reservations in advance of our trip, and so glad we did- Jamie's is popular. We took the Whale Watching tour on the Leviathan Cruiser in the afternoon. It was an overcast day, but once the tour began, the overcast day didn't matter at all. Our captain, Alfred, pointed out that all the whale watching companies work... More

We did a whale watching trip today through Jamie's. We managed to see 1 grey whale, 3 eagles, more sea lions than I could count, a few seals, sea otters, jellyfish and lots of birds. Staff are very knowledgeable and you feel in safe hands. We really enjoyed our trip! This is well worth the money!

I did the bear watching on an ad hoc overflow tour. We were in a zodiac and were kitted out with zodiac suits (warm suits that serve as flotation devices), fleece hats and gloves. All staff were friendly and helpful, our guide Chris was excellent. Interestingly he made the point during the tour that he preferred to leave the recommended... More

Customer Service from booking through to check in was excellent. The trip itself was exceptional ... Guide identified expected location of a smaller Grey Whale (~10 meters long) and we went to that spot. Spent quite a while watching this one. Journey there are back was very scenic and saw lots of other wildlife in the water. Note: I had... More

This was a very well run and informative 3 hour cruise to see the local whale population. The team on board were excellent so no complaints. I would suggest that Grey Whales are not the most exciting animals to watch. Unlike humpbacks which will often show you their tail or even breach these whales did little but come to the... More
