Very friendly staff and knowledgable. We had a botanist on-board and the skipper clearly had 'nature' in his blood!

My family took a tour in July as we were staying in Tofino and had hoped to see whales during our stay. Tofino is beautiful as is the whole area ( we spent time in Ucluelet too and it is just as fantastic! ). The tour was busy but not too full, there was room on top deck and it... More

Thier policy is not real. You get a rain check. But you are on standby. If other suckers book in front of you, you don't get to go. Even though you paid first you are behind them. No whales for us and no second chances either. Avoid like the plague.

We did two trips in a day with these guys. The first was bear watching which went out in the morning and chalked up 11 bears as well as a bald eagle and also some seals on the way back. Very easy to see, whilst keeping a respectful distance. Small enough boat for everyone to see and nice and smooth... More

We took a trip on the Zodiac from Uclulet with an extremely knowledgable guide. A fantastic experience, which gives you a a really close up view of the wildlife. We didn't see any whales, but we really didn't mind - being on the zodiac was such good fun, it was worth it! Plus, we knew we were looking for wild... More

Went on the hot springs tour where you aren't guarenteed to spot whales but saw several on the way! One came right up by tge zodiak. Went on the first tour of the day which I would recommend and our tour guide was fabulous!

Due to knowledge of whales and local wildlife, we saw two grey whales, an orca, tufted puffin which is rare, Stellar sea-l ions, seals and seabirds. Even in the dense fog we were so lucky, and could get answers on a variety of wildlife subjects. Value for money too.

This is our third whale watching trip and my first time actually seeing whales. With taxes, we paid almost $500 for the 2 hour trip for the four of us. We spent most of the time travelling to the whale location, saw the backs and a few spouts of some grey whales and then headed back. The best part was... More

Fabulous day with the family. Saw lots of wildlife including eagles, bear, seals, sea lions and sea otter. Didn't see any whales but our captain decided that he would keep looking for us all and make the trip a little longer. We were rewarded with 2 hump back whales, what an awesome sight. Thanks to Jamie's whaling station and staff... More
